In these moments of the market, I would not know how to say that it is more feasible, because in the face of a possible war one can clearly speak of a possible bearish movement, this due to the panic that it generates in investors, since they sell a lot to protect their money, but if Does a war occur with the characteristics they have for now? which is suffocating Russia by all means of traditional economy, leaving them out of the international banking system, this tells me that the closest thing to use is BTC and crypto, which tells me that there may be an increase in demand and pr lo both the price of BTC and crypto rise, so it is a very complicated scenario, at this time I would not know what is more likely to happen.

The market is very volatile, this panic in the market cause a lot of downtrend and ruined our chance to go to the new bull trend, no we are down and yes there’s no assurance that the price will rise again but of course we have to deal with this. What you can do during bear trend is to way for the buying entry and sell when profit is already enough for you. The only thing good here is that, we have the chance for a cheaper price because in the future, its value will continue to rise now that the adoption are more possible to begin.

Bear and bull the part of trading in cryptocurrency. Bear and bull market always be happened. 3-4 Year's ago cryptocurrency price was very low like Bitcoin, ETH but now cryptocurrency price huge increase. Market condition depends on investors and holders.

Yeah, and it's a very fast market, although we are talking here like 2-3 years of bear and bull run, it's very quick. I'm just talking about it with a colleague, reminiscing of a bear market and then the pandemic strike, halving and the bull run after that up to November of 2021. It's the saying, how time flies, so you better prepare yourself in both scenarios, have your trading strategy so that you will profit either short or long term.

So true, you really don't have that much time in the market specially when you do trade and keeps on investing. In the beginning though, for me it's seems like eternity. But going back and looking through it, in the last bear market, I did survived and then comes the bull run from 2020-2021 and now it seems the cycle repeats itself again as we enter a bearish trend. So I've learn some strategies that can help me still make some lunch money.

For holders, the secret of making it during trading is buying at dip(bear) and selling at bull, but am so surprised that most persons are adamant to this and keep their coin intact whether in bear or in bull.

Patient is the key.

Once you experience the bearish market once, you'll know what to do when it strikes next. It is important to have spare fiat to survive the bearish market, for you not to be forced to sell out your coins in a very low price, or at a price where you're not satisfied. The only thing I do is I set up an alarm in my blockfolio (FTX now) so that I'll be updated even though I'm not always looking the market.
Without greediness, you'll be able to make it happen. It's easy to say buy at dip and sell at bull but when we are in the actual situation, we will be tested on how we will handle our emotions because sometimes we are weak to aim for more when we see a good price and to easily panic when we see the price is dumping. This kind of weakness we have will make us fail in the long run and this is what whales love to see.

Thats how positive people think during bull or bear market. Because investors who understand the nature of crypto and not letting themselves to have negative thoughts even the market is down can make a bad situation turned to a good one.

It depends on how you see it, investors who used to see the unstable movement of the market are aware of whats the best thing to do depending on the market situation. Bear season has a good side and that is to buy while the price is cheap.

A wise investors has many ways how to earn a profit either in a bull or bear market. They know what's the best thing to do whatever the market situation is and that's the essence of being knowledgeable investors of cryptocurrency, it prevents you to over panic and over thinking and the best thing is that it prevents you from a huge loss ahead. We know the fundamental rule of being an investors and traders it is the "buy low, sell high", so always take a chance to see the possible ways to earn either in both season of crypto.

Yep, when the market is bearish, your dollars are able to get you more Bitcoin, and it’s an opportunity that you should always try to seize. After a bull run and the price of bitcoin hitting a new ATH price, I would usually sell my coins and take profit and wait for the correction to take or for the market to become bearish and then I would start planning how to start buying more Bitcoins and HODL for another long term till there is an increase in the market again.

That has been the norms for me and I make sure that I never miss it, because if you miss out on buying when the market is bearish and low in price, the only time you would be buying would be when the market is pumping and the worst thing that would happen to you is buying when the market has already gotten to its peak and starts to plummet.
What about your previous dollars that you have invested already? They are now in a loss. I think this kind of thinking limits the investors to buy at the dip but for the people that have sold successfully at highs, they do not have this problem. Newbies that haven't invested yet before are also be able to buy without a problem.

Missing the buying moment is unavoidable sometimes and we have our own reasons why we missed it but it is okay because there will always be a next time. No mate, buying at a pump is not the only way if ever you miss the dump. The people that does that are I guess do not have a patience or they are just risk takers and think that the market will continue to go up.

We may already be in a bearish trend, but I'm curious how you guys will react, if we continue this downtrend and the crypto market falls across the board in the next year or two, what will you guys do? Volatility seems to be a far cry from what we were in 2017 and the last crash, but if we were bearish for 1-2 years, what would you end up doing?
I don't want to create FUD or worry about anyone, this is just a post exploring perspectives and how everyone can mentally prepare. I'm confident for the next few years, I'm personally more bullish than bearish, but I'm ready for both directions in the market
Good question, I try to answer I'll hodl unless if urgency and need money then I'll sell it. Long term investment should not be affected if the price goes crash 1-2 year, sometimes they have a target between 5 to 10 years and they have a strong mentality and the money they put in is money they can afford to lose.
That's me as well. I have been hodling for years and I held a lot longer than that before as well, I just keep holding until some emergency happens. Unfortunately since we are not ultra rich people, whenever an emergency happens we cash out our investments and that ends with something like zero in our accounts again. I just recently had that, not all of my money but like 60% of my money is gone because I had debt and I was paying it small by small and I just realized I could simply pay the debt when it was higher (sold at around 45k so I am fine) and then I could end up putting more money in thanks to my debt being gone.

Not that I wasn't capable of paying my debt in any other way, it wasn't emergency but I saw it as a great idea to get rid of interest rate and put more money back in each month. Sometimes you just have to cash out for some reason. Otherwise I just keep it going as long as possible.

Is this the real beauty? SOmetimes, people will only the beauty when they are looking at something good and beautiful, like the green charts on the crypto market.
But, if the red ones are ongoing every time? Ahaha, I don't think this will be also influenced as the beauty, but some people may see it as a damage.
However, I am sure that the meaning here is about the ways of how the bearish and bullish market is ongoing, following the cycle, seeing the prospects and also the news. The bearish and bullish really become the moment to wat for. Some may hate and some may love them.

That’s just the truth. And this why the whales will always continue to have the upper hands in the market. Most of these whales are full-time investors that fully understands how the market works and they know these strategies and always utilizes it. Another thing is that they also have enough to spend in the market, they have more than enough to risk in the market, so they will always go ahead and invest at a time that a lot of people are panicking and doesn’t want to invest in the market.

Another issue that most of us do have is that we don’t have patience, and we have greed; when you’re letting these two things control the decisions that you are making in the market, then your success in the market is going to be a really difficult case.

The image below have made me realize that there's actually no loss of money in crypto currencies, be it in a bull market or bear market, what we often see as a loss during bear market is actually a minds trick, and because we allow that thought dwell in our mind for too long, it then becomes our reality, remember "As a man thinketh in his mind/heart, so he is".
We are literally what our mind is.
In a bull market, your bitcoin or any other coin affords you more usd and in a bear market, your usd affords you more bitcoin or any other coin of choice, and remember that in crypto, patience is a great key to unlocking wealth, patience equals HODL.

Feel free to state your thought(s).

Based on my understanding, bull market is actually a good time to sell at least some of your bitcoins and earn more dollars. While the bear market can actually be a great time to buy more bitcoins at low price so that you can gain more profita in the future when the prices go up again.Bullish and bearish are not good or bad. Just different.

It is a matter of how people respond to the abrupt changes in the market. Many had sold their crypto during the bear season for they are worried about the market will going to drop more without realizing that they can still make a profit upon waiting for the recovery. I'd see that FEAR is a big problem in most of us here, uncontrollable emotions trigger unwanted decisions that make us regret. I'm into that situation before but I realize that we can make it right if we are optimistic about the market flow.
With all the events that make the crypto market unpredictable, we can't be more profitable if we always have fear inside. Instead, we should be more risk takers as there can be no possible big changes that will take place if we never dare to take the risk. And yes, being more optimistic too could always give us an edge so we can make more profits regardless of the current season, be it bullish or bearish. But one thing is certain, bull and bear have always bring opportunities not to lose but to offer us profits.
^ Every market action is very important to us when bull market comes holders are happy and then when the bear market comes, buyers or investors are quite too happy because they can able to purchase at the lower price and they know that someday this will give benefit to them in the long run.
It is natural to BTC that there is an up and down price movement and that is called fluctuation which is in theta way they are easy making money in trading.
Nevertheless, if you hold BTC you have nothing to lose if you know how to control it.
If we all have this kind of thinking, we can't hear any complaints but because we all have a different mindset when it comes to market changes, this will unlikely to happen. We already have the opportunities and it keeps on knocking us but too sad that many were ignoring it while keeping those negative mindsets. Honestly, many people are not learning yet, they are getting far once seeing the market is red.

For a long time already, I still don't have any basis when to know if it is already a bull market or a bear market.

Just like is there any specific action on the market that you can tell it is already a bull market or bear market? I don't think so.

Another thing is some people are still claiming it is already a bear market while some are still on the bull market. Really confusion.

I personally don't understand it very well either, but by the signs of price increase and price drop I can have a more or less idea of when we are in the bear market and the bull market and when we are in the consolidation, when the person does not understand these two things, he runs the risk of losing money because trading in a bear market is very difficult and dangerous, and while trading in a bull market is more advantageous

True story!
I determine bullish and bearish based on the succeding  decrease or growth of the price. However, some people would really call the current price as bearish because it's still considered as a high price compared to the Bitcoin price in 2020.
Bearish and bullish perspective may differ in each person on how much timeframe he'll consider to determine what kind of market we're in.
