Well done for the good job done. Before I checked you posting history, I noticed some key words to be a Nigerian and when I finally checked the post history I confirmed it. You have done well for teaching your colleagues but if you want to enjoy your bitcoin journey I will not advise you to ask them to invest. "Experience is the best teacher". The risk that is there in the Investment is unspeakable. So be careful of whatever you are doing.

Reading your subject, I thought your plan was to create your coin. Introducing Bitcoin to your colleague is good, I wondered which country you are writing from as to expecting Bitcoin to have a means of payment in your supermarket.

Op, I see the loopholes in what you did. You said in your post that you'll soon implement bitcoin as a payment option and your fellow workers were happy,  how do people celebrate what they don't know? It just does not sound realistic, no offense.

And again you probably should be aware by now that you should only invest what you can afford to lose both in bitcoin and any other investment whatsoever, and you investing your salary in Bitcoin was not a smart move if you ask me because you would need that money anytime soon and prolly that time might be a bear period, and you might be forced to sell which will lead to you realizing a loss instead of profiting.
His story is kind of sketchy and not arranging the whole story, making it seems like a forge idea inother to accomplish whatever purpose it was intended. I'm not saying he's lying but with the key points spotted out, it's obvious that it just mere talks without backup evidence. Invest in bitcoin is a good step but not grabbing the necessary tools will only triggered losses in trading. Newbies should stay clear off the project if they have not understand the basis of the market.

tell them how we are coming up with a welcome development how the supermarket will soon start accepting bitcoin as means of exchange
From your previous topic; Bitcoin as means of exchange in happy day supermarket I have to believe you already implemented bitcoin payments in your supermarket even though the pictures provided gives no indication that the supermarket actually accepts bitcoin. The Supermarket looks small and can’t possibly have more than two workers, training two persons on how to send and receive bitcoin shouldn’t be a problem.
Op has said about the supermarket of a thing more than two threads and I had to view the image he sent in this former supermarket picture and the supermarket is small. And being the manager he needs to understand that an employer is not the same as the owner.
He could run into problems accepting bitcoin, especially problems of account balancing and managing the volatility of bitcoin. And also problems of who to bear the transaction fees.
Op also know that there is a difference between bitcoin and bitcointalk.org. The first is the currency while the other is the forum. It is not difficult to belong to a forum and excel.
Explain things to your colleagues and don't hype such they they will sink their salary in bitcoin and may regret it later.

There  came a day in my working place last weekend while we are less busy in the shop where I work because of the love I have for bitcoin I have to introduced it to my junior workers in the shop where I work, while telling them about bitcoin club an crypto space they where so happy an interested in the topic I told them  how I feel here when ever I login to the forum, how I see so many critics an encouraging in the forum they where so happy an excited I now go on an told them how I use my salary to invest on bitcoin they where so surprise,I now proceed and tell them how we are coming up with a welcome development how the supermarket will soon start accepting bitcoin as means of exchange because of the cashless policy in the country an scarcity of currency, they where all excited to hear that from me as their manager in the supermarket, they even go ahead an aske some questions on how they Can join the forum, what are the criteria to join the forum, how to invest in bitcoin, some even ask how to trade, some even ask how can someone be financial independent,or succeed through this forum, I told them is not easy to be here but u can be here also if only u are ready to lean from the forum told about some authors to read that can boost their knowledge.please I need you advice as a new beginner what to teach them as co workers.

If we take OP's perspective positive then he's clearly saying that he introduced the Bitcoin to his team mates last weekend, and that's amazing that those work mates found Bitcoin interesting. It's really awesome that the OP has told his team mates about his journey of using Bitcoin and investing his salary into it, that shows that he's truly interested in Bitcoin.

In some of his words he's trying to introduce them to this forum, which is really a genuine step towards learning of Bitcoin as this forum is filled with stuff related to Bitcoin. I'm very happy to see that people are adopting Bitcoin as a payment system in their work place.

Back to Op, if you really want to teach them about Bitcoin then this forum is the most reliable source of information for their learning. Other than this forum, you may should encourage them to read the white paper of Bitcoin that's freely available at Bitcoin.org, other than these sources you should also tell them to check sites like Coinmarketcap and Coingecko if they want to see charts of Bitcoin and other details about it.

The above mentioned sources are most reliable and they are beginner friendly, you should also tell them to learn about Blockchain and Bitcoin as much as possible from these sources before investing their money into it. I hope these resources should be enough for them to learn the basics of Blockchain and Bitcoin.

If ever, just a helpful tip. DO NOT sell bitcoin to people who don't know about it if you don't extensively know about it yourself.

Good tip you gave the OP there but I doubt he remembers or cares about this thread that he opened to seek advice as a beginner on how to teach other beginners about bitcoin.

There are other things which I myself find really weird and somewhat interesting. The OP admits he’s a newbie that needs advice on what and how to go about teaching his colleagues about bitcoin, but goes ahead to invest his salary earned in bitcoin.
Also, I’m still curious on why his colleagues would think anyone could be financially independent through this forum and how to go about registering.
Perhaps along the lines, the discussions must have strayed from teaching about bitcoin to how to attain wealth and financial independence through forums on the web.

I'm gonna sound like your 10th grade literature and grammar teacher but here goes anyway.

Your story is a little ridiculous, granted you clarified that you were working as a manager on that supermarket but I find it weird that you're able to start your own club or company so to speak, don't they run regular background checks to employees regardless of hierarchy especially in retail? I don't know man I need a little clarifying on that one.

Besides that, I also found it a little weird that you were so eager to teach your colleagues as you put it about bitcoin and its wonders, but judging your account and the way you portray bitcoin in your story it's giving me newbie that knows little about bitcoin if any at all vibes.

If ever, just a helpful tip. DO NOT sell bitcoin to people who don't know about it if you don't extensively know about it yourself.

In the Philippines, only the legally recognized legal tender is allowed for the payment of wages to their respective employees. Any kind of payment not recognized as the legal tender is void and can be legally challenged by the employees especially if this was without their respective consent...

Similar rules apply in all countries of the world, with the exception of El Salvador, where bitcoin is legally recognized as a means of payment. But this does not mean that bitcoin is not used as a means of payment, but you need to remember that this is not done legally.

This is all a good undertaking, but I think the OP doesn't even know whether it is legal to accept bitcoins as payment for goods in the country in which he lives. Apparently, the knowledge of the OP is not yet enough to be able to promote bitcoin in populace.

Like what you guys mentioned, how can the employees appreciate this kind of system where they are the ones who are not knowledgeable about it on the first place? This puts too much risk on them given that the risks involve are just too great for them to accept.

please I need you advice as a new beginner what to teach them as co workers.

You need to teach them the basics... You know, how to buy, how to sell, how to swap, how to hold... And then teach them about wallets and address, because a lot of people keeps doing the same mistake by leaving their coins in exchanges, and there are too many people who have lost their money for this mistake.

And once you understand this, then start making deals with them for Bitcoin, maybe some sports bets just for fun, or pay their services in cryptos.

OP, you have a lot to teach your junior colleagues on bitcoin knowledge, since they haven't hears about it before, from the way you explained. I guess you were the first to bring them into the lime light. You are the manager of the supermarket and it is like you are the one who told your Boss to accept bitcoin as a means of alternative payment method. If not why is it that other staffs didn't know that the supermarket wants to adopt bitcoin.

There are no criteria of joining this forum,so I will advice that you give them the link for them to register,so that they can start learning on their own and don't need to depend on you. This will make them learn fast and will help them in their bitcoin journey if they are interested in investing. You did a great job

Let them unde the pros and cons in dealing with bitcoin as well, provided that they were your Juniors and hold your integrity in hand means you must also learn to maintain your reputation you have with them by explaining bitcoin in details to them onnjow one can invest, lost his asset or make profits so that it wouldn't be a surprise to them whenever bitcoin is highly volatile on a bearish trend a d they begin to loose focus and sell off because of fear of missing out.

OP, this story is so rigorous. I don't doubt your story, but I don't know if you heard yourself at all. The part where you said you guys are planning to accept Bitcoin payment in the supermarket: is it that you own a supermarket that you are running while you are still working for another company, or is it that you are working in that supermarket where you are teaching your junior colleague about Bitcoin? When creating a thread, don't be in a hurry to do so; always take your time to draft a good and comprehensive thread that can be well understood by your readers, even if the grammar is not well arranged but should be easy to comprehend. It's obvious to me that you just created this thread in such a hurry. And by the way, telling your co-workers that you invested your salary in Bitcoin without telling them the risks involved is discouraged. When you introduce Bitcoin to people, you should also tell them about the risks involved.

Op started a thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61872952 where he said he had introduced Bitcoin payment to the manager of the supermarket he works and the manager accepted to start using the means of payment.
Like @Dr.Bitcoin_Strange rightly pointed out you need to take time and arrange your post because we need to understand it before we can learn from it. Arranging your posts in paragraph can also be beneficial.

Thank you for introducing Bitcoin to your fellow workers and I hope some of them will pick interest in this remarkable currency. But ensure you don't force them to join the Bitcoin space by your sweet words because they also need to know that the sector also has risks.

Well you're a beginner like you said, so you shouldn't be teaching anyone.

What you can tell them though, is to study a lot instead of immediately jumping to investing and stuff.'

Well, I'm trying to see this from bright sight where more new people come to join the crypto community. However, please note that means you have a responsible too to educate them. By this responsibility, you also need to improve your knowledge about cryptocurrency. Strengththen your fundamentals so you guide the new people right. In my opinion, here are some topics that can be shared with them :
1. Introduction to Bitcoin and blockchain technology: Explain what Bitcoin is and how it works, including the concept of blockchain technology.
2. Wallets and exchanges: Teach them how to set up a Bitcoin wallet and how to buy and sell Bitcoin on a cryptocurrency exchange.
3. Risk management: Explain the risks associated with investing in cryptocurrencies and how to manage those risks.
4. Technical analysis: Teach them how to analyze cryptocurrency market trends and charts to make informed investment decisions.
5. Security: Emphasize the importance of securing their Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency assets by using strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and other security measures.
6. Community and resources: Introduce them to Bitcoin forums and other online resources where they can learn more and get involved in the cryptocurrency community.

Note : please don't just throw them to the forum without giving them a proper understanding about how to mingle here. Good luck.
