I think what you need to do is to post voluminous with an interesting topic and make sure it touches the heart of readers and in such a case, I don't think if I have smerit will deprive you of merit .
. i don't know if it's prohibited, but it's not a good look for anyone.
here's a tip - hang out in the places where the people with the most merit are. that's the serious discussion/ ivory tower section and the meta section. that's where the senior people who care most about the forum hang out and they're more inclined to hand out merit to posts that respect it.
you still won't get anything if you post crap.
from looking at your posts it's mainly a couple of empty sentences that don't tell anyone anything new, or yet another list of bounty stuff. why would anyone merit that?

Beggin merits isn't allowed, you don't have to beg in life to get things, you need to offer quality. Make a good post quality and get merits, make good jobs quality and get bitcoins. That's how life work, begging you only will get to nowhere, so, you can start searching some nice bitcoin related articles online and bring them to discussion on the forum. But i'm not talking about copy paste, i'm talking about a real talk. If you find something interesting share it with us, share your point of view and listen to other people point of views. This way you will learn a lot about btc while grow up in the community.
It's crazy to see how merits are there to reward quality content written, and people make it an objective to get merit instead of focusing on learning and actually contributing with meaningful info.
I understand the lack of merits can block you from growing your status, but again, you shouldn't make that your goal either, at least that is not what the platform was created for in the first place.

Merit system is something that is to be earned not begged. I myself having 0 "zero" merits, it maybe my posts are not interesting to people to give merits. So just refrain from seeking merits, involve in community and learn. Once you are good enough to earn merits, you will get them eventually.

Being active wouldn't earn you a merit be somewhat useful and helpful in the forum like reporting spams etc. that are not consider valuables for forum. Begging for merit is not prohibited, but most members who actively give out merit hate begging for merit, they put you to their ignore list for this.

No, it's not prohibited but i would imagine it would just get annoying over time and the senior members will just add you to their ignore list which would actually hurt your chances of getting merit down the road. I do understand where you're coming from though but the best chances of earning merit would be to contribute to the community by helping other members or sharing your experience or knowledge on a certain topic and just hope someone will recognize your efforts.

If it would be that easy, everyone would make topics like that because why lift your hand even to write/do something? If they could get merit for free with begging. That won't work, create some ICO summary, rate it, describe it, this is only example but people do that stuff and gets tons of merit.
I don't know if this forum has a strict policy about begging for merits, but I think it does and I don't think anyone will give you merit just because you begged for it. If you write a very well written, unique and catching post you will surely get a merit for it
Your question looks very funny, but it's not out of place. The truth is that nobody will give you a merit because you begged them to, you can only draw their attention to your post which you believe is worth awarding a merit.
I am still waiting to see the first person that will get merits by begging for it.
It is a pity that people have resorted to begging for merits instead of making meaningful contributions that could earn them merits. My advice is this; concentrate on good posts that would help the community and forget about merit, the merits will come.

begging for merit is not a good way to participate in this forum . it shows that the person is just here to increase his or her rank . the purpose of the forum is to educate every one member who is little be confuse on how the cryptocurrency world works and also to share vital ideas on how to make this forum a better place as a knowledge center for all.l advice never beg for merit but create ideas and innovation for the progress of the forum.once the forum is growing you are also growing too.
It is so hard for me to get merits but I always try my very best to create a good post,begging merits will only help you to rank up but will not add your knowledge.it is better to get merits with your own hard work than to beg merits to others.
