Why not try arbitration? It's fit for you who not find quick money, plus it's low risk, you just need to monitoring your transaction and find reliable exchange.
Arbitration is still at risk, many cases this month dispatching coins are disrupted from liqui to bittrex. Several days coins are not accepted, complaints have been delivered via new 6 day ticket is completed. The big problem is for 6 days the coin gets down. This is a painful loss.

Five percent weekly, monthly or annually? If you are very patient, buying bitcoin, monero and ethereum will go a long way. Buy them and forget about them for a few years.

Whatever you do, don't trade, unless you have huge sums to backup losses it is not worth it. That's all speculation, and the tide will go against you more often than not
In my opinion, Investing in Bitcoin should be a long term investment. Yes, it definitely gives you a big profit. But for that, you will need to be patient. Not for weeks. Not for months. It’s a story about forgetting it for years. But when its rate increases it gives you much profit. Just keep on monitoring the fluctuations of the exchange rates of crypto currencies.

To be honest, if you are just looking for something more than 5% per year then you shouldn't be in crypto... crypto is very risky. You can get a much more reliable return over 5% with big dividend stocks or real estate investment trusts (REITs). Mutual funds/index funds are a good option too. With crypto, you might double your money or cut it in half.

Also crypto is very high right now and slated to start moving downward. All coins are likely to decline soon as Bitcoin and the other leaders are extremely overvalued.

OP is saying he is young, probably underage too. and he said he has $100 to invest. i don't think you can even invest such a low amount into stocks or real estate investment trusts, ... most of them will laugh at you if you bring up $100 as investment Smiley

You can absolutely invest in stocks with $100. Use robinhood so you don't get any transaction fees. There are plenty of good dividend or long term growth stocks under $100 per share, such as VZ, T, V, MSFT, and others.

If you want to invest in an ICO, a good one would be NIMIQ, i bought some too. Or you could buy any coin during this market correction and you can make 20-25% easily.

Trading crypto currencies could be very profitable but it needs alot of patience and the price is quite unstable, so you need to focus all the time, for this coming months the one that has big opportunity to rise is litecoin and ETH, and I suggest to invest in ETH other than bitcoin, ETH is the escape route when bitcoin failed
Why not guess in next time the bubble crypto market will breakdown as stock market in 2008? I agree with writer this thread, at now very easy to make money on market, just buying and you can take profit 5-20% after one day lol! I will waiting happens in September before comeback

Hello all,

I am a pretty young investor who has just found his way to the cryptocurrency market and was wondering the best ways forward. I don't have a relatively high bankroll(only $100), but I am willing to wait for my holdings to grow. I'm not really looking for a get rich quick but just a solid investment that would yield more that 5%. I was wondering what your guys opinions would be for me to move forward. I have around $20 in bitcoin which i bought at $2100 a few weeks ago. If you were in my situation where time was not a big factor what currencies would you invest in? I have heard from friends and colleagues that Litecoin is on the way up but they didn't have any reasoning just a gut feeling.

Thanks,
Beastley5

If I'm in your condition, i will invest only in bitcoin, litecoin, waves, ethereum and monero. all of them are fast movement coin and also have great community. Sometime i will choose some altcoin to stake them in my wallet, but ofcourse i will choose good altcoin to POS because nowadays too many POS shitcoin without future

You have bought btc at $2100 and now its already $2550.If you could wait till segwit is activated it would go more. So,my suggestion to you is that altcoin market is highly volatile than bitcoin. So,better stay with your bitcoi ns till some more time and then try to sell when its price is very high.
My suggestion is also sticking with bitcoin will be more beneficial compared to moving capitals out of bitcoins. There are a lot of expectations among bitcoin investors on segwit activation still I believe we do not need to wait till activation on August 1st, as speculators will move markets well before itself.

I mean to say this is not the right time to move away from bitcoin investments because in very quick time itself we are going to have very much surprising prices for bitcoins. Believing on bitcoins and continuing our holding must be the right options as of now.

I think you have a nice beginning as you rightly said that you have invested into litecoin and the next step to follow is to google and learn everything about bitcoin and altcoins on reddit group such as http://reddit.com/r/bitcoin and http://reddit.com/r/altcoin  here you will get all the information you will need to become a successful investor. It's really hard to say for certain which ones are good investments from the bad. In cryptocurrency trading, it is actually unpredictable as there are quite a lot of whales manipulating the movement of most coins. You'll be surprised that suddenly a coin just went up and another went down by huge margins and all of them has no news whatsoever.

Based upon the suggestion provided, most has asked to move forward with bitcoin or ETH at present. This is because of the growth it has gained over the time. I prefer you to invest into short term earning similar to ICO's and increase your capital for investing into bitcoin or ETH.
if you have a lots of time and patience this advise is really good for someone who's starting its journey, placing your money inside ico coin will teach you how to  research and assess quality coins that have a big potential inside the market from there you will able to justify which project will bring you decent earnings and will allow you to grow your portfolio.

Hi! Glad to hear stories like mine.
I'm also a young investor and I also started around 2 weeks ago, with a very small amount (200€).
I am reading a lot while I hold my investment.
I bought some good altcoins, and I´m also holding Btc.
My strategy is also low risk, long term benefits  Wink

And of course, don't fall into scams like pump&dump groups. You might think it´s a good way to get some btcs but you will just lose money. I was thinking about doing it but luckily I read a lot before that and I forgot about it.

Try to be active in the forum, rank up, get into a signature campaign, start getting some profit over time, and hold your coins for months or years... And hopefully the benefits will arrive Smiley

Good luck!!!

5% is very achievable on crypto world on a short period of time and you will earn that even 100x of your capital but the risk is always high specially when we do trading specially for newbies like you that dont have too much enough idea on crypto. Investing on bitcoin when it was still on 2100 is good because im sure your $20 have grown already which is good. Just study on potential altcoin in the market and you will surely see lots of opportunities for that money to grow. Goodluck
