What do you want out of your investment? Long term growth? Short term?

I'm oversimplifying things here, but if you're going for a long term investment, Bitcoin would be the way to go. If you want ti multiply your money quickly, you should look into some relatively new alts which have better short term potential than Bitcoin.

But yeah you should start with the fundamentals first. This isn't like the stock market where you could sign up for a brokerage service and be done with it. Cryptocurrency exchanges generally work the same way as them, but they're quite notorious for not being very secure. Make sure you do research into what you're putting money in. You can always ask questions here if the search function isn't being helpful.

yes, i totally agree. First, ask yourself those questions. But also new alts are not a short term investment (minimum 4-6 months).

Make a research, invest partly in Bitcoin or other altcoins like ETH, XRP, BCH, EOS, LTC, XLM, NEO, DASH.
OMG has a potential. Stellar this is a promising enough crypto currencyis has a full-fledged infrastructure, which allows to transfer funds through various assets. All participants in the system have equal access and rights, which attracts many investors. Recently, IBM announced that it chooses Stellar for its new project. Golem was created on the basis of Ethereum and is an open source protocol.

Diversify, don't invest only in one. Analyse - read the news, try new alts, which may cost 0,2-10$ but can grow faster than others. And don't think of quick money, go for longterm. Your patience will pay off.

With a small amount of money, you can invest in BTC, the profit you bring is very large at the moment. But with the money too small, I recommend investing in EOS and NEO is more reasonable. If you are patient you can put your money in your bitcoin and you can sell your btc when the price of bitcoin be over 20k$
One advice that's good for newbies but with small amounts, I don't think that they'll be happy to see such gains for bitcoin but if their total investment isn't so high.

Start trading with altcoins through a good exchange like binance and grow your small amount by buying altcoins and wait for them to grow with few percentage and sell them quickly to gain.

First of all, you have to understand in every investment there is always have a risk, so just invest from your secondary capital not your main capital.
If you okey with that you can keep going

... But with a small amount of money, how should I start and should invest in Bitcoin or another coin. Hope people show me a reasonable solution
Thanks very much.
The answer is bitcoin, because it more safer and stable than another alt coin. Because of that bitcoin is suitable for long term investment.
But if you want to try for short term investment you can choose alt coin, there are many good alt coin, you also can check the other 10 top coin at https://coinmarketcap.com if you would invest to another alt coin.

First rules of make money is getting into the flow or follow the basic investment rules i.e. buy in low and sell in high.
If you see the candlesticks chart of Bitcoin or any other coin/token then you will see lots of price up and down cycle, so basic rule of multiplying of your money (whichever amount you have) is follow that cycle and buy or sell according to that. But before identifying that when buy or sell you need to do a lots of research or study and you will understand it. As per my opinion this time is best time to buy.

Hello everyone
After a period of research into the virtual currency market, I now want to invest in this virtual currency market. But with a small amount of money, how should I start and should invest in Bitcoin or another coin. Hope people show me a reasonable solution
Thanks very much.

bitcoin or altcoin, I think both can be your choice, because what I know, what makes cryptocurrency be special is that everyone can invest even with small capital because we can buy a small part of the cryptocurrency without losing the value of that cryptocurrency.

If you can afford to lose that small amount, you can hope for a high gain by investing in a new promising coin that has the potential to grow a hundred times. Now finding that coin is another challenge.

But conventional wisdom would tell you to:
1. Study first - know everthing you need to know in this cryptoverse that you're into. Be like a sponge in absorbing valuable information given out by the respected personalities here. Hint: LEGENDARY / HERO. (but you will soon see that even below-hero members who have more merits than their activities and realize that they tend to have the same credibility as the legendary and hero members). So include them as well in your sources of information.
2. Diversify - If you really don't want to gamble, this is your best bet. Hehe (funny me)
3. Keep on learning - this i believe will be your best tool in this vast cyptoverse.

Good luck.

It all depends on you, you want to invest your money in the long term or short term, if you want to get profits quickly you can go into the form of short term investments, for example investing your money in the form of altcoins, so many kinds of altcoins, you must know first, what new coins can be good and profitable for you, for example, looking for coins with a large sales volume, there you can see the exchange so quickly, that's where you will get profits quickly if you can use your money well, but with seeing the amount of money you have to invest, it is better to invest your money in the form of long-term investments, examples of coins that can be called long-term investments, namely BTC or ETH.

Using exchanges like coinbase is very easy for beginner and it is where I bought my first one. However fees are quite high so perhaps you must look for another one. You can also pay in UK pounds now which is cool. If you do a transfer it is free I think but if you just buy with a card you incur cost. I haven't tried abra at all. Try to see which ones have lower and higher fees and compare them to get the best deal.
