I must agree that learning self-control is indeed one of the best advantages that Gambling could give. Though, I must say that before reaching that level of control the path wouldn't be that easy. I myself went through a lot before achieving it, I've almost lost everything I could possibly have and friends that I pushed away and much more. Gambling is really risky and yes it could destroy one's life, though It will still depend on the person who engaged him/herself in this industry on how he would handle it. Self Control would take years before you can say that, I'm in control of gambling.

That's what most of the gamblers thinks that they can make easy money from gambling, but the fact is we need to spend money on gambling to get those entertainments. Who ever gamble only for the fun purpose will get enjoyment as a benefit, and if they are lucky, then they will also get some money. But if you gamble to make money then most of the times end up without enjoying a fun and also losses.

Of course gambling has both disadvantages and advantages. It's obvious to me that besides the opportunity to increase your money, gambling gives us a lot of life lessons. He teaches us to know the value of winning and losing. Also teaches us to keep ourselves and our emotions under control in any situations and just gives an emotional pleasure from the game.

He failed to control himself and got frustrated and planned to at least recover his loses but in a wrong way.

No, gambling is not the only way to make a quick money. Apart from illegal ways which should be excluded of course, there are other ways which can potentially bring you to big money. Treasure hunting is one of them. And there are others, but all of them depend on your luck big time, so you can't expect they will work for sure. Same with gambling, it can be beneficial but the chances are small.

Until today I haven’t really have a thought how gambling benefits me other than winning me some money. I realized that gambling DID do me some good in other ways. It thought me that common sense cannot be bought, that it must be used at all the time especially when it comes to money, and that one must always practice using it. It thought me to manage my money smartly. It thought me to segregate money and always prioritize my needs first before gambling out the rest. It thought me these things but sometimes I have hard time applying it.

I believe it depends on how the player react everytime they lose a game or money from playing gambling games. You are lucky you are able to wake up and fix yourself from addiction. I also agree that gambling have some sort of benefits but people overlooked this benefits in exchange of winning money. They are blinded by greed, even those who just played to entertain themselves find themselves being hooked due to the promise of possible huge amount of winning.

Gambling is made for people who finds happiness in playing games with risking their money.we can't really tell if it's for us until we enjoy it or it attracts our interest. The fact that gambling exist meaning there are still people who gains benefits on it. It maybe the owners, the team or the players. It depends on how we treat and play gambling.
