It seems to me that at the beginning of this forum, many more users wanted to learn something about crypto and also meet crypto enthusiasts from all over the world. We all got along really well and had a fan time.
Unfortunately, recently there is a visible trend of decreasing activity on the forum, there are fewer and fewer active members and interesting topics, and almost the only reason for the arrival of new members is the possibility of earning money on the forum.
Fortunately, we still have good fun and communication in my local part of the forum  Grin

Even on the board's local forums it also happened. I don't know, but if I look closely at some of the accounts that disappeared there is no discussion.  Maybe he feels bored or maybe there are other factors I don't know. But if you read some of the writings made by the emergence of the project through Bitcointalk as a promotional forum, the forum's activities have increased. Then I read there was a merit system and since then there has also been an effect. Perhaps those users who are lazy to follow that rule become no longer active. Actually, this forum provides many benefits not only making money. This forum provides knowledge that is constantly updated. In fact I always open it even if I just read.

This forum is the most beneficial for the crypto beginners because they can learn a lot about crypto and can also earn by joining Bounties. In this forum anything about crypto can be learnt by asking questions or by searching through the forum.

Consistent, patient and unyielding is what Newbie must do to continue to survive in this forum. Never be afraid to be involved in discussions with more senior users because it will make you further add your insight, and most importantly never get bored to keep reading every information shared here. At first we are nothing here, because there is an intention to continue learning we can find out something that has never been known before.

From my point of view, the biggest benefit of being a bitcointalk member is that you can discuss for free things you're interested in, without the fear of being mocked for your little knowledge in certain fields in relation to bitcoin and cryptocurrency. On the other hand, if your knowledge is broad enough to be a good source of valuable information, you can educate others by answering questions of less experienced members or guiding them by creating thought-provoking educational threads with the information you gathered in the course of your own learning process. In my opinion, this knowledge should be easily accessible and free because in this community, people value open source things, be it software or information itself. Paywalls are the invention of the fiat world, where the main goal is not to educate others but make more money selling bullshit. Forums like bitcointalk are different: they are cozy and friendly for newcomers, which is why they remain popular even in the age of social media platforms.
about the paywalls you mean which is full of crap, I just heard about it and haven't even accessed it. Currently only bitcointalk provides me with detailed information about crypto and some other important information related to the latest economic technology etc. and this is obtained for free and can have discussions to issue some personal opinions so that there will be discussions that provide solutions to the problems that are being experienced.
There will be more benefits that bitcointalk members get if they are really serious about being in this group, not just registering and hoping to get money to get rich instantly. Bitcoitalk.org is a trusted and most complete center for cryptocurrency information and other information and has many registered members.

My insight becomes wider about investing in crypto, I read a lot of opinions from everyone who is experienced in crypto investing, and I become more enthusiastic about investing in crypto, especially in bitcoin, seeing future opportunities I will continue to deepen my knowledge in the investment world.

yes, I also after joining the bitcointalk forum, my insight has also increased, especially about bitcoin, and insight other than bitcoin has also increased, such as economics, politics and so on, and what's more unique is that we can find quality friends.
It all means nothing if you do not increase your knowledge of the forum. Here there are rules that need to be considered for your sustainability in the forum, you also need to increase your knowledge of how the forum system works. In addition to adding insight, you must also have Merit to reach higher levels.

In addition to activity, everyone now has a merit score, and you need both a certain activity level and a certain merit score in order to reach higher member ranks. The required scores are:

Regarding the market place in the Forum, escrow (a trust middle man who holds funds while you trade, confirms a credible transaction, and releases fund) is an option. Escrow is typically paid for and is a very affordable service. There aren't any other forums that I'm aware of that can assist with other information technologies like this one, where you can discover discussions on subjects like cyber security and ethical hacking. The forum also offers access to historical material from groundbreaking projects with information from users other than the account holder preserved.

One of the biggest benefits of this forum is the gambling section. A lot of casinos open up a thread and it is always interesting to read about peoples stories/successes/tricks and advices. It also helps to post a topic, if you have a (valid) complaint on this forum as in many times, the complaint will get resolved a lot quicker.

Many people say that this forum is really helpful because here we can learn many things about crypto, investment, trading, discussion, and many more things as provided on every section of the boards. Moreover, this forum also provides many ways for the members to be able to earn money. I am sure that most members are active here because of it. If there is no, I am not sure that this will be many.
However, I can't deny that here in this forum, I can find clear information or news in which there is so much bad news spreading to make any FUD. But here, I always get the clarification so that we can be more aware and understand enough what exactly going on.
But, we must be also more aware that we have gained more from this forum, so, what we can give back to this forum? This forum doesn't need many things, it may need good discussion and also contributions in order to keep this forum friendly, informative, qualified, and also competitive.

You wouldn't know Bitcointalk is big place until you become one of it member, bitcointalk is more than a place a place to ask questions and get fast reply, you wouldn't know the value until you become one of the user.
You're right, you won't know bitcointalk is a huge library until you become a member.

However, there is a very clear difference between users whose goal is to join here to learn about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies and those whose initial goal is to make money. The first users don't care about the rankings and also about the merit system, they just focus on certain topics about bitcoin or such rather than topics about meta or other general topics that have nothing to do with bitcoin.

As for users who fall into the second category, they are less likely to (absolutely not) engage in bitcoin discussions or anything like that because they tend to focus on making money. You can tell the difference when you visit the Bitcoin Technical Support and the bounty board. At first I also fell into the first category, but over time my mindset changed and my knowledge of bitcoin was sufficient even though I didn't understand it technically.

I can agree with you, but I would add that there is a third reason why users come to this forum, and that is to socialize and meet users from their local area or country.
I don't know what the situation is with users from other countries, but users from Croatia have been hanging out and know each other for years, and some members have met and gotten to know each other in person. That should actually be the meaning of this forum, socializing and exchanging experiences with crypto lovers from all over the world, but especially from your region.
At least that's what I think  Cheesy

I see bitcointalk as a mother community to every other crypto communities out there interms of co-ordination, integrity, and everything been done is  achieved anonymously and decentralized  managed through trust system. The user Interface for Botcointalk is the most user-friendly and easy to navigate.

When it comes to informations one can't get full information about any thread but with various contributions from various users an average person can grasp more than enough information for a particular discussion.

Bitcoin talk is not just a good start for Bitcoiners but for crypto as a whole because her users tries to limit the hype surrounding the crypto market unlike other communities that pay attention to hyping shit coins.

there are so many benefits of bitcoin especially for beginners like me, I learned a lot, observed, and understood what trading is, what is bitcoin, what is a digital wallet, and many more, what I like the most here we can discuss together, and the chat is very high quality containing knowledge, understanding, opinions, views and experiences, it is very inspiring and becomes more enthusiastic to continue to deepen my knowledge in the crypto world.

In summary you can say that the benefits of bitcointalk to you is that you learnt the knowledge of bitcoin in it or you are still learning because members of bitcointalk engages in quality bitcoin discussion and also help profer solutions to problems. That I great.

The forum has different benefits to different people in different time depending on what you want. There was when my only benefit was getting information but now I have benefits of getting btc weekly.

You are right that mates this the benefits we  he got is depends on what we are aiming for because there's lot of benefits to be given if we want it. But the common here is knowledge and earning. Like you said that you are earning a BTC every week because you are participating in the campaign signature which is the best example of benefits. But another user here in our community their benefit is helping our forum through sharing and gathered knowledge to everyone of us.

By the way, the topic is about "the benefits of being a bitcointalk member", not being a bitcoin holder.

Sure, the discussions on this forum covered varied topics, everyone can learn a lot from the discussions. But before you are engaged with the discussion, you are better to learn from any sources about the topics, so you won't mislead/misunderstand the topics. The sources to learn aren't a must from the threads in this forum, you can learn from any articles from any site. However, make sure that you choose trustable sources.

Well, I appreciate that you are very enthusiastic to learn from this forum. You are in the right place to learn everything about crypto, blockchain, or even Bitcoin itself.

Well those question you mentioned are also answerable in different sites like Reddit and other article sites anyway, however I feel like the answers that you would get here are more personalized and not just that usual "slap an article" link and get a few quotes from there just for the sake of calling it "contribution" to the discussion.
I know there are older users here that were also lurking in Reddit especially in Bitcoin sub, but I had never asked any question related to crypto there since I use Reddit for other purposes that are entirely non-crypto.

I hope you have a great time in here though, Gallar.
