There's no literally right time whenever when to buy Bitcoin because we couldn't predict what would be the outcome in the market's price. But we all know that buying at the bearish market is the best time to buy with the cheaper price especially if you're planning to invest in a long term. But bearish might be a good timing but for short term investment, it might affect them negatively since the decrease drop of Bitcoin's value are keeping decreasing causing some investor to lose more investment and get liquidated. But if you panicked in these kind of situation as an investor like moving your funds into altcoins, for sure you'll missed out a big opportunity because if you're holding long enough reaching the bullrun, for sure you'll profit big.
You say the "best time" to buy Bitcoin long-term is a bear market. You have a point, but are you ready to weather the storm? A lot of people talk a good game about investing for the long term, but as soon as they see a drop, they run away. In crypto world, what does "long term" mean? One year? How about five years? Its impossible to clarify the standards.

As for short-term investments and the risk of liquidation, you're right. If you are not careful, a bear market can take you all the way down and then spit you out. Still, I dont think you should switch to altcoins out of the blue. Most of the time, thats like jumping from a hot pan into a fire one. My point? Diversification is key, but dont do it out of fear.
I agree that the best and right time to enter the market is when bitcoin experiences a decline, people on this forum definitely know that, especially those who often discuss with JayJuanGee about using the right strategy in risk management and time management when buying bitcoin. as long as it is bearish it is the most momentum.

But I try to pay attention to the behavior of other investors, as I described before, they run away from bitcoin when the downturn occurs, and prefer stablecoins to protect their money, speaking they are missing a big opportunity, yes I agree about that, as we saw that when The decline occurred in stable coins, the market capitalization of which increased significantly, it shows that most investors out there moved to this stable altcoin.
Yes, perhaps the main factor as we know is excessive fear so they liquidate their bitcoins.

As investors who want to invest in Bitcoin, of course they have their own strategy in determining when is the right time to buy or sell it, but for those who make long-term investments, of course they will not be affected by a price drop because they understand this well. I think those who panic about the decline in their prices are not worthy of being called investors because for investors the decline in prices is not a problem for those who make long-term investments and they are able to stick to strategies that they understand well so that they can profit from these investments.

What is the concept that defines a bitcoin investor? And if they are not investors, then who are they? And without people lacking knowledge and experience selling their bitcoins in a panic, where would you buy cheap bitcoins? Furthermore, in investing there will be times when you win or lose, those who dump bitcoin in panic do not mean they will not learn any lessons and will always fail. It is simply a journey that any investor will go through to become a professional investor.

Due to the low price of Bitcoin many people that have small investment amount of money will buy now the thing is many people will lose interest but if people buy then many people will buy hoping that they will get a big investment but then Again the price of Bitcoin will increase at a very high rate, of course it is very good that every thing should go up in a price then there are a risk and it never good if the price only goes down or up.This is good for Bitcoin as the price of Bitcoin goes down. Because more people will buy, and people trust will be stronger than its price will increase and people will accept the country or society with trust.A lot of people are eagerly looking forward to the day when the price will drop so many people will buy now.We do not buy many products when the price goes down but with Bitcoin it is the other way around because of the royalty issue because everyone knows that by buying here no one is a victim if he waits patiently.

I think, many investors used bearish season to buy Bitcoin and hold until the market price start pumping before they can think of selling or continue holding until the price of their satisfaction occur in the market.  Now that the price of Bitcoin has dropped down to $26,000 in this month of September, show that many investors will use this opportunity to increase their purchase in the market, because there is a hope that those that invested in Bitcoin at this rate will have something special to earn before the end of this year. Based on the current price, I think long term holders will achieve more profits when the price increase higher than short term holders, because the long term holders are very ready to hold till bullish season appear in the market.
There is no right time to accumulate bitcoin during the bearish season, although we do know that the bearish season is very boring and a bit scary, because on days the market moves stagnant at lower prices and every time you see the market it is red.
I think many investors rarely enter the market to collect bitcoin, only a few investors dare to enter the market when a downturn occurs.
It is proven that when bitcoin experiences a decline, most investors liquidate their bitcoin and temporarily move their money to stable coins.
They prefer to enter the market when bitcoin has moved into a bull run rather than accumulating in bearish times, but those who accumulate bitcoin when prices are falling are smart investors.

Selling Bitcoin is also a viable strategy to accumulate more capital for shopping if the market continues to decline. Everyone has their own predictions, and there's no need to debate their decisions because we don't bear the losses of others, nor do they bear ours.

If you constantly corner people who sell Bitcoin during bearish markets, it's akin to persuading them to hold. Yet, they may have alternative strategies that could be more advantageous. Who knows?

Even though there are sales during bearish moments, the Bitcoin ecosystem continues to strengthen year by year, and it accumulates.

I'm obviously very happy to say that as I write this, the price of bitcoin is trading above $27k. September is not historically a good month for market conditions - but something different is always possible when things turn in favor of the industry and its market participants.

Since the August correction - I tend to think that bitcoin is just maintaining a sideways trend instead of recovering. The market is moving so slowly and this has made it difficult to break the $28k resistance or higher - but over the remainder of September we can expect that resistance to be broken so the $27k support level is expected to become stronger. But despite all that - I think experienced investors have been accumulating instead of ignoring this correction by just holding and avoiding the market. If they have additional budget - then accumulation during correction is always advisable.

Firstly drop in the price of Bitcoin helps strengthen the Bitcoin ecosystem by making impatient holders sell their Bitcoin hodlings to others who understands Bitcoin better

It will help those that have long wanted to join the Bitcoin ecosystem quite encouraged to purchase Bitcoin

It will help capable hodlers  reduce Bitcoin spending to in turn help increase demand and value

For sure it is not obviously a negative thing when the market price of Bitcoin drops a huge percentage since it is also a big opportunity for other investors and traders to buy Bitcoin at a good discount, It was sure not a good thing for someone who buys bitcoin before the drop because they already lose money when the price drop already but still you're not really going to lose money unless you're going to sell already at that time when the price drop.

Personally, I would prefer the market price to drop more since I am going for long-term investment I dont really have intentions to sell my investment at this time so for sure, so if the price sustain at this market point I could easily buy and accumulate more Bitcoin since I'm buying Bitcoin at a discount I could accumulate more in the Bullrun it is going to be a huge profit for sure. I mean the market is just a cycle so there are always going to be drops like this even at the top.
Right indeed. Those who only understand bitcoin and it’s market will eventually take advantage of the price drop, and maximize its purchases. But for some who have just entered the market and then suddenly bitcoin price drops, surely it will threaten them and might resort into thinking that their bitcoin investment is now over. But we should always know that not all the time bitcoin price will be on top, at times it’s also seen below like what we are seeing at the moment. So never panic but continue to buy bitcoin while it’s still affordable at the moment.

Yes, the people who sell when the market declines are largely new, but that's also a completely natural part of the market. Because if everyone is waiting to buy when the price of bitcoin drops, then who will dump bitcoin so we can buy it cheap? This is the financial markets and that's how it works, there are always losers to create winners. I have never seen a financial market without losers.

Whether bitcoin's price decrease is advantageous or disadvantageous depends on each person's position. For high-priced buyers, bitcoin's price drop is not something to celebrate.

In my opinion, taking profits from bitcoin trading can be done long term or short term, it's just a matter of strategy. For people who have limited capital, short-term trading options are often chosen because they can produce daily, weekly or monthly profits. They carry out bitcoin buying and selling activities by taking profit of price movements.
Long term or short term, taking profit is always a good activity on the market. If you take profit and get your initial capital back, you are reduce risk for your investment. When you take profit much enough to get all initial capital back, you are safe. If you keep that amount untouched, your initial capital is already safe and you will have zero risk to lose it if  you don't reinvest it.

People just take too much risk, they don't often take their initial capital back when they have chances and by reinvesting, they sometimes fail and lose not only profit but also initial capital when market has crashes.

Yes. that's the advantage of short-term trading, they can take profits little by little until their capital is back in full, then they can use the profits for trading, and the risk is smaller. However, in practice it is not easy, they need experience and good market analysis to be able to trade correctly.

If there are no short-term bitcoin traders, the bitcoin market will be very quiet because everyone keeps their bitcoins and does not carry out trading activities. So whether you hold bitcoin for the long term or short term, they all have a contribution to the bitcoin ecosystem
Traders who use leverages and Futures for trading are interesting components in the market. They are victims in the market when it has crashes but without them, we will not have forced liquidations on market and price will not have serious candles for wash out or break out, spike. Their gambling makes the market more dramatic and interesting.

yes yes yes, once again I agree with you. However, if the bitcoin market has a high trading volume, it will make people more interested and confident in bitcoin. You can imagine how people would trust Bitcoin if the market was quiet and there was no trading activity. That's not interesting.

So traders have a big contribution in keeping the bitcoin trend maintained. They indirectly contribute to the sustainability of the bitcoin ecosystem, especially regarding the price of bitcoin. And when people talk about bitcoin then they will talk about the price (not the concept)

I don't see why bitcoin is affordable where I live because it is very expensive to buy a whole bitcoin. That is why I am just buying small amounts coming from my salary unless you have a bigger salary, but I get your point that in the future the price would be massively expensive.

Having an understanding of Bitcoin, whether you are new or not is necessary because that is your investment. Having knowledge of it can lessen the risk of losing your money and you can also know when and where to buy.

In every drop on Bitcoin price present an opportunities for short time traders who doesn't have much knowledge about Bitcoin and just decided to accumulate and sell as the price goes up a bit because of there fear of uncertainty while others who believes the potential of Bitcoin will always  sees the drop as an opportunity to accumulate a good amount of Bitcoin, and most times irrespective of the current price of Bitcoin weather up or down the long time holders always sees opportunity to accumulate knowing fully well the potential of Bitcoin in the future will be great.

Everything has a positive side if you are indeed a good thing, including the decline that occurs in Bitcoin, if you have a big plan for the decline, such as buying more so you can get more profit in Bullrun later, isn't that a fairly logical decision expecting a decline.
Your logic is bad - expecting a downturn after you've made an investment decision is certainly not a good thing. However, you can use this dip to accumulate if it turns out that the price decrease actually occurs after you invest.

If you expect a decline after investing – then you are actually choosing to take a loss first rather than wait for the decline and start investing. Where is the correct logic?

The benefits of decline are very important for an investor, both old or new investors, a decrease in key where we can take advantage, as we know that Bitcoin always returns to the top price.

We all know that to make a profit in the markets we need to buy low and sell high, so lowering prices is actually just as important as increasing prices. But the problem is that not everyone wants that to happen. There are many reasons for that, and just like what's happening in the market, I don't see too many people wanting bitcoin to fall further, instead they all hope bitcoin will reach 30k soon and surpass 35k$ by the end of this year. That makes me feel like everyone understands the importance of the price drop but no one has enough capital to buy more bitcoin. So what they expect is more increase than decrease. Personally, I have also bought enough bitcoin for myself and what I expect is an increase instead of a decrease.
Yes, of course, for those of us who have bought Bitcoin, certainly expect the increase to be the most later, I also do not deny about it friends, even all investors.
But even though I have bought Bitcoin, my DCA funds are still here in a few months to accumulate Bitcoin, so the decline is enough for me to look forward to today, because I want to buy more bitcoin when it happens.

Everything has a positive side if you are indeed a good thing, including the decline that occurs in Bitcoin, if you have a big plan for the decline, such as buying more so you can get more profit in Bullrun later, isn't that a fairly logical decision expecting a decline.

Those who are new holder of bitcoin or who have little knowledge about bitcoin they often regret when the price of bitcoin reduce a bit but real holders are considered fall of Bitcoin price is a golden opportunity for the bitcoin holders. A new bitcoin investor may be worried about the falling price of bitcoin. They may sell their bitcoins by the fear of loss but those who know about bitcoin and can predict they will never miss the opportunity if they can afford it. There are some Bitcoin investors who wait for that desired time. Those who are new investors should invest in Bitcoin after gaining a good understanding about Bitcoin. Otherwise they will fail to hold their bitcoins.
If one can't be patient after investing then he will never invest successfully but risk his money every time and walk away from investing. No one has ever lost money by investing in bitcoins those who have lost money are due to their own mistakes.  Lost I think. After investing in bitcoins we should wait for few months if the bitcoin market goes to dumping. When the price rises again then we have to sell the bitcoins. If we invest in this way by following some rules I think we can get good amount of profit.
