As long as i used the google authentication for any 2FA verification, there was no problem at all.

Google authentication is the best app with low size and secure. I use this app 3-4 years still didn't see any problem and this app very easy to use.
Yeah, I use Google Authenticator for long time, and, as for me, it is the most convenient app without any problems.

Google authenticator and Authy are different apps. 
I used Google authentication long time but I found that authy is a little more convenient, it can store the seed phrase if you need it and design is a bit better in my opinion.

Almost all of my accounts use 2FA. I think this is the safest way to protect your property ever since it helps me prevent hacker attacks and no one can pass 2FA without your permission. I always recommend that my relatives use this feature to help them avoid unnecessary risks

I do not know how other users use other applications instead of the usual Google, so it seems to me that they can steal your QR keys, although probably I'm already very much in panic.
