I think Neo will become the best coin of the year.It has great potential and I think Neo will become second Ethereum in the cryptocurrency world.
I wait for the coin to be issued by the creator of the telegram. It has great potential for growth in 2018.
In the year 2017 so many Altcoin came into limelight . ETC, WAVE, STRATIS, DASH, ONION and many more Altcoin gained remarkable value. Let us guess Best Altcoins for year 2018?
I guess the best one is on the way of coming,not the current exist .I suppose it should be called blockchain 3.0 or 4.0 even 5.0. Let's wait to see if the super star will come.
best altcoin in 2018 I think is NEO, because this is the year where NEO will be king of all altcoin available
For the well-known alts I would choose NEO và Ethereum. Both projects have many surprise things in store for 2018. For the alt under radar, I would choose Matrixchain AI. I'll avoid utility tokens because most of them are useless until the scalability is solved. I tend to buy platform coins and Matrixchain would be the most promising project.

I think the market will be divided into 3 segments in 2018
1) Decentralize coin with real peer-to-peer usage
- Lite coin or Digibyte will win the race
2) Centralize coin (many haters, but it will survive and accept widely)
- Ripple will win the race
3) Smart Contract platform
-Ethereum will still dominate

It is too early to predict which coin will be best in 2018. But in my opinion, etherum will be the best coin this year.
For me, definitely platform types which are ETH and NEO.

I think the kings of the cryptocurrency world in the 2017 are bitcoin and ethereum, and in my opinion, it is a big probability that this situation will continue. Also I think, IOTA, Waves and Stellar are very promising coins.

I think the best coin of 2018 is ethereum, because when the altcoin average drops dramatically because the BTC price drops only the ethereum I see decreases not too much and quickly returns to stable when BTC experiences price increases again
