A strong indicator of how a coin will turn out. First of all, the coin has to have a name, a good logo, a good website. An ill-chosen name or poorly designed logo is a death sentence.
Perhaps the most important of factors, the community. This only applies to established currencies. Some time after the launch, there must be an active community of people not only supporting the currency, but developing relevant services for it. Coins that do not have this weeks later released should not even be considered.

ZCash could be a good one. It is similar to bitcoin but offer anonymity and good block size.
avoid MK and invest on what tech they are creating. Ignore Vaporware and look at what actually they have created and not 'promised'. These are the alts that will last
It seems you can't go wrong with any alcoin these days, almost all of them are on the way up. 
I have to say I didn't expect that denying ETF will have such a possitive impact on alts and also on bitcoin at the same time, everything is growing high right now.
Personally, I keep my eyes on PIVX, some announcement is planed for tomorrow, so we could expect bigger moves on the market. Also it is highly probable that Nexus wallet 3.0 will be out within next few days, so having a few coins in it is worth trying.

Was a pretty good day in the end yesterday - gain about 2-3% of my total bitcoin into my trading pot (ready for reinvestment) and total GBP value increased by 8%, I wouldn't have managed anywhere near that with everything else going on. Changed some parameters around and scaled up a bit today to (hopefully) capitalise a bit more.
Just go with Monero, it has a big potential after the ETF rejection. People tend to make it as substitute and treats it as a subordinate of bitcoin. Well for me, this has the potential to keep on pumping and of course ETH will still remain always on my list.
Cryptonote coins are such a joke and non-user friendly its beyond a joke.
All my mined monero is worthless because the pools paid me out in small chunks.

Invested 20 in dash a good while back now that 20 is worth 100 Monero also nice and Zcash Decred seems to be doing well too.
i will invest in monero and decred because i know this coins is getting better from time to time and in this time, that coins has getting pump and the price is really can help us to make profit. but for buy dash for now, i think the price is too expensive and we need more budget to buy the amount like you mention it.
I hear you there.I think those are good investments and a smart thing to do.I been looking at Clams being POS now and Unobtainum which is POW and can still be mined.I think those are good too.Just my thoughts.I also think Wild Beast Block is also another one to keep an eye on.
