The Ethereum Classic ETC could be a very good long term investment if it survives the next few months.
Right now, many of the advanced altcoins are where bitcoin was in 2011 - back then, the price moves of bitcoin seemed dramatic - it was at $0.22 and spiked past $25.00.What are the top 3 candidates in your opinion?
NEM is the only viable alternative to ETH, and IMO alot better.

Yes I agree, NEM is a very good investment.

nem is good but am not sure it will grow like last time, ardor of nxt is good and lisk looks like a safe bet.
If you want high growth invest in small cap coins like krpton and nexus. it's more risky offcourse.

i dont like JC but XVC still a great altcoin with a lot potential.
I prefer cryptobullion,because 1m only around and time per time price rise very high,its time to buy this coin while is cheap
Yup I agree, and the upcoming projects will just surely increase its price. 1 million means a few thousands make you included in the rich wallets list already.

I'm still in Primecoin XPM, CryptoBullion CBX, and Horizon HZ for longterm. Those have solid reputation and a good base for growth.
*** I do not recommend to invest in any mentioned coins without proper research, how it was launched, how it developed, community involvement, stamina, price history and volume, etc. So do your homework cause you're the only one responsible for your funds.

I am starting to get seriously enthused by the steemit project. Seems like an interesting and unique blockchain application. May be a good punt despite the recent run-up in price

(more than 1 person).
Im asking because i would like to invest some of my funds into altcoin,but i have not decided yet which one altcoin i will choose,so im looking for a good one which is not a scam-coin,and also it has big volume.
I would probably invest something between 0,01 - 0,03 but im still not sure,if i can see that i can get bigger profit's out of it,i will invest more i guess.

Well OP mentioned CryptoBullion CBX which has a point being a low inflation, low volume and PoSP coin. Followed up by upcoming projects then CBX is worth a look into.

I think for 2016 XEM is good alt coin to invest, but it is your duty to study how does this Alt coin grows and how XEM run. in my own opinion and research Xem is a good alt coin to invest. NEM will soon launching the XEM wallet app. try to study and research more. and you and only you can answer where so you like to put your funds to gamble. NEM is more than 2 years old, i dont know why more people dont know about it, there was tons of stuff talked about it here leading up to its launch. NEM has far exceeded my expectations and there is more and more real world adoption happening with its technology.
