Best coin to mine in 2017 is ethereum. But not all card is best for ethereum.
In case you have 1080 or 1080ti best coin for mining in that case is zchas.
And if you have old card like 280x or 7970 they are also not good for ethereum...

Can you make a sugestion on the best hardware setup for mining etherium.
I would greatly apreciate it

In my point of view, is ZEC and ETH.

I'm also mining ZEC and ETH right now. So far, it is pretty good and pretty profitable. Smiley

I think ETH is better than ZEC and is good coin gor mining! It will has higher price in the end of year!

I would definitely recommend mining ethereum. The coin holds good value, the future is bright and I think you will be happy with the results whether you are choosing to sell it or to hold it. I have been mining ethereum for a few months and have been holding all of mine, as I feel comfortable that this coin will continue to rise steadily in value.

I'm new to mining so it's really knowledgeable reading here. Me and my friends are planning to build a Solar PV based mining rig because the power supply in our area is not consistent, we are planning to mine etherium this fall and I hoping the will be able to compensate for our expenses and have a positive return at the end of fall of 2018.
As for me I'm holding all my ether too and it's really good to play in the market.

What is your opinion on which to mine with one standard rig with 4x  RX470 and 2x RX480?

I am currently on xmr, but considering switching to Signatum or Ubiq

Your GTX 1050 ti can mine Zcash up to 189 sol/s for a second, you cannot make a decent amount of Zcash with only 1 of them ,still better than nothing as they consume max, 65-70 watt. They can mine Ethereum also but maximum up to 14.9 M/h . Now the profitability in both sides has gone down. A round of mining in Zcash with 3x GTX 1060 is giving me only 0.003 zcash for the moment, and it was 0.0042 only a few days ago.

i can highly recommended xmr, zcoin and zchash i have been mined it now, you must have a high specs of computer in order for you to mine it more. i mine it almost a 16hrs per day ,so proper ventilation is also needed to prevent a over heating that cause for your computer shut down simultaneously. But you have a 1050ti i think you may earn more because you have a good gpu, you need also a cooling fan for that.

I switched to ETH classic but difficulty is to high, so I think I will switch to musicoin.

this is good if you have low GB gpu otherwise remain with ETH it's more stable nd solid, musicoin is just a scam pump and dump, will no go anywhere, at best you can mine ETC, i find it a nice competitors to ETH

Ethereum is definitely the best. From now on, the value of a particular crypto will highly depend on the adoption rate. I myself think Ripple will have even higher potential to growth (in terms of price) But you cannot mine ripple LOL

the best only for amd guys, not for nvidia, nvidia perform quite bad on ETH due to bandwidth limitations, and cost/hash is very bad versus AMD, the onyl exception maybe is the 1070, which still remain good on ETH+SIA
