the video card is weak for mining, it is better to launch new coins for the future, which are not yet on the exchange. the chance to make a profit is higher

Coins in the priority for mining always change. Constantly the same coin is not profitable to mine. You have to ride from one to the other. To do this, there are mining calculators online

Hello there,

I never mined any altcoin before, can anyone help me which altcoin i can mine with GTX 1050 Ti 4GB DDR5 GPU.
Please tell me one which is profitable.

Cheers.

If you just want to dip your toes in mining you can try to mine with Nicehash, just to see amount your card can actually give you in USD value over 24 hour period, after that you can decide if that is worth your electricity and your time.

Also you can test how much hashrate you get on each algo but that is something you can find online trough different charts that people created trough time.

One of my rigs is 4 gtx 1050 ti's each is getting on average 12.3 mh/s using Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred_Siacoin_Lbry_Pascal_Blake2s_Keccak AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 and I mine on Minerpool.net. None of my cards are OC or anything just straight up stock other then fan settings. I also run it with my other rig which has 6 rx 580 8gb's, so together I do about 230-240 mh/s. I like Minerpool.net as there is several different coins and they keep adding more. I do most of my trades on Cryptopia and Stocks.Exchange atm.
My 1050tis do 15.9 mh/s on eth after OCing without claymore (so no dev fee and no dual mining).

Best would be if you run eth, xmr, zec, neoscrypt, lbry miner for testing hashrate, and put results to https://whattomine.com and check by self what is most profitable, because it changes every hour...
Do not put blind faith at whattomine, some of their estimations are way off.
I agree with you. I do not believe in https://whattomine.com because I think its value is being presented incorrectly. I usually refer to it only after I stopped running on my excavator to calculate how much profit to make to decide to exploit.

Since claymore Zcash release is only for AMD cards and there is no other viable solution out there for Nvidia, you should mine ETH/ETC whatever is most profitable at the moment.

Ahah LMAO

Yeah try Ubiq aswell, it's a good ETH clone.

I'm thinking of buying a gaming pc with GTX 1050Ti and mining a bit to get an idea of how mining is. If anyone has experiences with GTX 1050Ti, I'd appreciate it.

zec with nicehash miner should give you 100+, maybe even 150? (because a 1060 can do 226) sol at 50watt with proper tuning

Zec is your best option, you can get about 150 sols with the current version of Nvidia miner with the 1050Ti. The above suggestions are not correct. Eth/Exp is bad for 1050ti.
How to mine Zec? Can i have a link to any proper guide? Smiley
Thanks.
