ethereum is still everyone's favorite altcoin and now my favorite is BNB. these two altcoins are often the talk of many people and many investors invest their money in these two altcoins
Personally I have decided on the coins I will invest in 2020, mostly top coins such as ETH, LTC, BNB, ETC, but I also like VITE and Grin coins. Everyone should choose their own coins for investment.
I've just been investing and trading ETH for a very long time and I'm completely sure that ETH will bring me profit over time, and I also think that I should keep Bitcoin in my wallet for sure.
You know better as you are also trading at the same time. Bitcoin is no doubt a good investment, in fact, this is the best coin you should trust when you are holding since everything relies on bitcoin now.
If bitcoin is going to succeed in the long run, altcoins will eventually enjoy the same success and since ETH holds the number 2 position, there's a big possibility that it will pump again, and break its current ATH.
The best alts will always be at the top of the market, so it is worth choosing alts at the top of the market, such as ETH or BNB, very promising coins in which you can invest for the long term.
I totally agree with you that altcoin is still the best, of course ethereum, but as you say that the altcoin peak at CMC, it is highly recommended to be used as a reference for investment. like BNB, XRP and that might surprise LINK. so don't hesitate to keep analyzing a bit before you place your funds for the altcoin you will choose.

we have entered Q2 2020, most likely prices will experience high volatility, after Q1 2020 all altcoins have increased,
and Q2 seems to be a correction, and we have seen that, in my opinion it is still difficult to find the best altcoin besides Etherum,
but there are BAT and XTZ will probably be a priority in the best Altcoin besides ETH
I agree with you because Q2 is often a very bad time for this market and there will be a lot of big adjustments. During this time I will tend to sell more altcoins and only keep fiat to ensure my profit. Of course there will be plenty of other opportunities for everyone so don't worry and plan to buy lots of cheap coins. I still think bitcoin and ethereum are the best coin until now both coins have high demand and large volumes in each market, I personally still keep these two coins to in hold in the long run
But Bitcoin is not an altcoin tho.Now almost all the coins are unlikely to make much profit in 2020, but personally I like ETH, because it has several upgrades planned this year, which may raise the price.
Yes, ETH always a good choice to actually invest on this pandemic. It has good community and people will do anything to actually make this coin better in the future.the problem is that the coins which you choose can bring you big profits and also they can leave you without money very quickly. invest 1000 dollars and tomorrow your thousand may turn into 10 dollars. The strategy of investing in such coins is suitable only for very experienced people in this market.

i will probably chose those who are in the top 10 or20.. these are the alcoins you can't underestimate.. and we know what is there capacity when bullish market is back
I also prefer the coins that are in the top 20, because they are already time-tested and less risky to invest in them, sooner or later the top coins will certainly grow. 
As for me, bnb is the best altcoin for 2020, it's got an awesome team who has a good vision of how to make the coin a great one in future, no doubt bnb will be the main rival of Eth in future, CZ will always come up with an idea that will make people to keep buying bnb if eventually the launchpad he's conducting on Binance exchange fade off, recently they released a whitepaper for enabling smart contract. If you're looking for a project to hold long term, think about BNB. If binance achieve all it's ideas, BNB can pump to $500-1000 in 3 years.

All in here are basically choose in the top 10 or 20 because of this have a chance to grow up more the price. But if we search some altcoins not listed in the top we can it everywhere and worth it to hold or trade. Although I've seen some of them spreading in any market and in the low prices right now so Ill think it is the time to buy on them, But we need to be careful by choosing them because some of them are become a shitcoins. i will probably chose those who are in the top 10 or20.. these are the alcoins you can't underestimate.. and we know what is there capacity when bullish market is back

Of course, before investing I always consider very carefully and only invest if it is cheap.

it remains that ethereum is still very dominant to be a very good investment and cannot be avoided other than of course bitcoin.I agree with you that it is really easy that we could still choose those who are rated 10-20 now.
but I am also interested in LINK which might be able to move towards better than now, and BNB.
My vote will definitely go for Chainlink/Matic

LINK - With the recent price manipulation of DEFI, we can see that LINK proves that its existence is needed to solve data manipulation because the lack of decentralization or data sources
Matic - If people are positive with Ethereum 2.0, things that could scale up the network like off chain solutions, on chain solutions will be pretty viable in the long run
