I dont think so. Ripple just have value for bank. not for us. but btw I like ripple transaction speed. very fast
For me the best altcoin to be bought or invested in the year 2018 is the RIPPLE. It has a potential to grow more and more. You must try this altcoin and you will never regret.

Deflationary currency which is actually generating income. At a measly 30 odd million market cap it but a drop in the ocean. BTW I just got in a couple of days ago on advice from uncle so obviously I don't want it to go down. But hey it makes sense and is easy for simple people like me to understand.

For now it’s a good time for buying promising coins. And I think electroneum , ethereum, iota and ripple are good choices. These coins have a great future. I believe they will earn to me much in 2018.
I think that the best coins for holding in 2018 are XRP, IOTA, NEM, Comsa, Universa, Bitclave. This is my hodl portfolio for 2018, which hopefully will bring me many Xs 
I think XRB is a good altcoin to buy, I heard that it will pump to 0.001 btc next year, I regret I spent already may 1000 xrb, right before it pumps, selling it for low price, I didn't know that it will pump to 20k this December, I really regret it. I'm hoping it will dump, so I can buy even a small amount, and I will really hold it next year.
RAIBLOCKS (XRB) has gone from #59 in CoinMarketCap when you wrote this to #24 in a week. It would be wise to buy some now and buy more at every correction.
Do your research. This could fundamentally change crypto.

I would like to say Gladius, but i think hardcap has already been reached, but don't worry. Once they get into the market, i strongly advice you to buy Gladius.
