Burstcoin  (BURST).  Hovering around 1 million market cap right now.  Established, great community, and green/eco friendly HDD mining that really starting to catch on!

I have read about this before. I am not sure what to think about the HDD mining, but seems really cool!

I don't really like to buy coins with market cap below 1 million. Most of them are junkcoins which is the reason why they are so cheap. I prefer to aim high maybe from 2 to 5 million market cap. Although the price of altcoins is more expensive in terms of market, you will have a higher chance of buying a better coin.

Ain't no "best" altcoin.  They all bad, and that ain't got nothing to do wit' the mawket cap, no how.  Except the worst of the worst is at zero.

For me Bitbay but do your own research and pick wisely. Crypto is not easy to pick a winner.

Thanks! Will do some research about this Smiley

And let me clarify that the investments amounts I am thinking about would not be huge. Something that I can just forget about for a year or two and see if I have made something or lost it all Cheesy Damn, I was sure I bookmarked some projects already for later reading, but I cannot find them anywhere..

You can find most of altcoins with their marketcap and daily trading volume at coinmarketcap
http://coinmarketcap.com/

but if you are looking to invest in such coins the make sure you do a proper research about coin before investing you hard earned money and don't invest in coins that doesn't have enough trading volume according to your investment amount.

I am asking if someone has made some research already and can give some recommendations. Coinmarketcap lists over 100 coins with marketcaps of 100k-1mil so that is a lot of research to be done  Grin

Hi!

I was sure that there was a thread about "Best altcoins under 1 million marketcap" before, but I cannot find it anywhere! Does someone have a link? If not, post your thoughts here Smiley I will try to remember what was posted in the previous thread that got my attention and post them here also.
Do you know how marketcap calculates the coins's total capital? if a coin has 10M supply then they take an average price in at least from 5 different exchanges and multiply the price into those 10M but never actually give you the true statistics, if $1 per coin then they show total capital $10M but in reality if you try to sell 50K of said coin for $1 price you'll end up at $0.1 price for that coin and a total capital of $1M.
Best way to know which coins are worth the try is to check their buy support because only buy support is what matters.

Yes, I know how marketcap is calculated and that the liquidity especially in low marketcap coins is practically non-existent. I am maybe looking for projects that have good ideas and promising teams to invest in for the long run.

Be careful with these coins with little marketcap, they are like that for a reason and only luck with get you on to a winner, no skill involved.

If you invest in these small "shitcoins" you will definitely get burned if you are not super careful.
