You set your desired odds and then your bet amount and then it shows the result and the winning number. So pretty much, yes.
I checked it out - it is really more of a raffle or lottery setup and slow pace (compared to dice).  I don't think it belongs in this poll.

Peerbet is not on the list, that one is provably fair and zero house edge.

House edge is 1.9%. Max payout per bet is 25 BTC (See http://bitbattle.me/bets/).
That a tough sell when 3 of the games above have a house edge of 1% (primedice, Just-Dice and coinroll.it)
Well, it's a different experience. With bitbattle.me you don't need to deposit - there is no intermediate step necessary. So the betting is more direct, while still avoiding most of the blockchain bloat produced by SDice. And you get immediate feedback on your transaction. And there is multiplayer. And detailed statistics per user and per site. And much more! Grin

I wonder if whoever bought SatoshiDice saw this pole?  They are tied with Insanity dice;)  I think you could buy Insanity out for less than 12Million

Go hash yourself!
You are right though, in fact one can argue that gambling on sports is not even true gambling.  It is possible to make educated guesses on who will win which of course is why different teams have different odds.

I think people like dice due to its simpicity and the speed at which you can make bets.  I personally perfer blackjack and poker myself.

But in fact you are getting an inferior service and potentially using a website with a poor interface and/or security. Not even saying this as an administrator of a live roulette website but I would much rather bet on real life events rather than a bunch of dorks hashing each others hashes in someones basement.
