Maybe there is like something like a good way to help people when it comes to research and probing different attributes of a certain coin to see whether it will reach the moon in the near future and worthy of an investment from people. Maybe there is a strategy that we can use. What do you think? Is really there such a strategy?

I love DGPT and think it is light years ahead of the competition both from a technical / security perspective and a development perspective. First to market projects have a much higher likelihood of success in capturing majority market share, especially in the short to mid-term. I see this project exploding during the next bull run which hopefully will coincide with the launch this summer. The beta launch was successful, the team is strong and the utility it high. Pair that with low supply and high demand and you will see strong performance.
I think 2018 best ICOs are eligma and buzzshow because nowadays we don't analyse the best project but some managers are choose the best projects only so I trusted in Yahoo projects and some other promising ICOs also available in the market but 10x hype is unpredictable.
Ncash can go easy 500% in starting 2019, some say around 1000%
I jumped into NCASH while it is still low. I've been holding on to KMD for ages and I am a huge supporter of SYS.
So for once, I couldn't agree more with many of the above posts!
I also think LTC is still hugely underestimated, but I am old-fashioned, I suppose!
For a wildcard pick I would say DigiPulse. June/July specifically with the platform launch slated for July. Just recently burned over 50% of total supply and has a very low circulating supply 2.2m trading currently at 1.51 USD which I believe is extremely cheap and could see a nice pump as the platform gets closer to being launched. Price could also increase throughout 2018 as its one of a few who are going after the digital asset inheritance space.
If you do some basic due diligence you will see other competitors have limitations or involve third parties (lawyers) which blockchain should be cutting out the middle man and not including them.

I'm also hoping for a big year for DGPT after their platform release. Hopefully this coin gains traction. Have been a few pnd recently.

Komodo - really promising coin. The coin is constantly evolving and expanding its sphere of influence. Experts also appreciate this project very well. I think that a coin can grow in x2 - x4 but certainly not in x10, it is already too much.
Check out ELA as well. They have some massive companies invested and it has basically never pumped. I think it easily deserves to be a top 20 coin.

1. Omix from project shivom can easily going 10x when the genome data is up and running on their platform. Especially if the country the work to collected data now is finish. Alot of researcher will buy that genome data from the platform.
2. Essentia : digital id is urgently needed and it will make easy access to another dapp like aragon, forkdelta..etc... the developer also develop the aoftware good and have nice UI

Yes, Komodo is a really good potential coin for investment along with NEO and Syscoin. I think we'll see at least 3x for KMD by the end of this year.
Syscoin's hype is over, people prefer newer coin now like EOS or Zil. Syscoin released a lot of update and their masternode but the price doesn't move much like other project.

komodo is a promising platform I can agreed so this will raise soon. But your expectation is too much I think December it will reach 10 to 12 USD is possible because all the coins are little down in the market so slowly recovering in soon but Komodo is still positive in the market that is improper in Crypto market may be will going to dump also possible in future so I am stay away in this coin. MinexCoin - stable coin for miners with passive income, now it is stable, but a lot of good things are coming - price will go to the moon!
nice suggestion. it's risky, but if it goes the moon, you'il be rich. you can give a 5% share of the portfolio. If it's 10x, your portfolio will be 145%.
