Buy: KlondikeCoin
Mine: NyanCoin

No brainer: Buy/Mine Cash. Price is a cert to go up once it hits Cryptsy, and it will hit Cryptsy.

Easy to mine, soon to hit an exchange: Fckbankscoin
Nyan won't hit anywhere. Nobody knows which nyan you're talking about here. Yea, there are two different nyan coins if someone didn't already know it. I hate this biased bullshit, everybody just promotes their shitcoins.

Welcome to the altcoin section.

Thank you !  Smiley

i made 1btc+ off of leafcoin as soon as it hit coinmarket.io on my 2.7mh/sec pc.

i know the diff and popularity have increased.. but leafcoin is drawing a very enthusiastic crowd.

You could make A LOT of more just with some patient. It will increase actual price x10 easily.

If you haven't checked it out yet look into PXL coin . Has a very active dev with a very supportive community. You can use the PXL coin to buy pixel space on www.pxlcoin.com it's a very solid coin. Right now is can be traded at www.atomic-trade.com . I feel very strong for PXL and POT these 2 coins are definitely worth looking into.

[to NUFCrichard]

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section but I do not think the question is pointless. Of course a a mining profitablility site is a good place to look at for the established coins.

For sure again each guy will point out its own coin of interested (that's why I asked "my-coin-is-the-best" answer just to stay away). That's indeed most of the answers except the "BitCommoditiz" which looks somewhat new indeed if what is said is correct. I have to study that, don't fully understand at this point but maybe that's a coin to follow.

There is always noise in any topic...

The core question is: for very new coins (just announced here). What you guy makes you consider mining a brand new coin ?
- Giveways ?
- funny coins ?
- technical aspects ?
- premine ?
- other ?

If we all agree on the main requirements with new coins, we would now what to mine before difficulty gets high... pointless ?

Jerry.

It is a pointless question. Forgetting the fact that you have posted in the wrong section, everyone will just big up their coin of interest.
If you are GPU mining then look for a mining profitablility site, otherwise it is a shot in the dark.

Hi jerrypages7,

Dont' know if BitCommoditiz has the best potential but our coin is really new and different : it is the first attempt to tie a crypto coin value to some real underlying asset.

For example when you mine for "Goldz", the mining difficulty is driven by real gold variations in the market. BitCommoditiz has been designed by miners for miners.

You may want to check our website : http://www.bitcommoditiz.org

And our annoucement : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428931.0;all

Cheerz !

Right now most profitable is KDC. You have some fast numbers here if you still have doubts about it:

Feathercoin probably. Huge potential to rise, diff still very low compared to LTC.

Feathercoins has huge potential? It's been here for a year and nothing happened. Comparing FTC to LTC is so mid-2013. Both dead coins

I find PeerCoin to be an interesting project.  Also FeatherCoin. I believe both will be around in the future.
