It's just my 2cents, I'm going based on previous events and the market history. When the market takes a hit bitcoin usually recovers first. Followed by ETH and the alts, generally speaking. I like the Polygon project because of the network's use case right now and how it participates on taking some of the load off the main net.
The best coins you can buy in a bear market are bitcoins while you can also buy altcoins as an option because after all, bitcoin will give you a bigger profit than altcoins. ..
If you have chosen altcoin correctly for investment, then in the bull market it will bring you much more profit than bitcoin can bring you. And it is this kind of investment that will help you increase the amount of BTC in your wallet due to the profit received from the sale of altcoins.

I don't think everyone will ignore Bitcoin in the list of recommended coins in bear market, but due to the high price factor of bitcoin it may be for small traders that implementing the option of at least 2x profit can be achieved after market recovery, maybe Fantom profit option would be better added in bear market coin of choice.Price matters in terms of multipliers of profits, Bitcoin and most of the tops assets have high value you can generate 50% or less using established coins while if you are a type of trader who can handle risk, you can buy pump and dump coin that will give you a chance to earn x2 or more.
Depending on how you foresaw the potentials but also how will you carry the risk in case the coin will not bounce back and continue
to fall, even the market gain back its bullish momentum.

You can try to ETH and Matic to buy for long term holding. Because ETH is long term survive coin.And Matic is new promising coin in altcoin.Matic have huge volume. I believe in those coin to buy and hold.when bitcoin price will grow up then those two coin price will be rise up.

I only believe in eth coin, many new alcoins have appeared but have not been able to compete with ethereum coins even though now bnb coins have appeared but I believe bnb coins cannot replace ethereum coins.

I'm not buying any of those, I am investing in world changing cryptos with real utility, like HBAR, 0xMR, and ICP. Will CBDCs run on top of ApeCoin? No, but they will run on HBAR and XRP. Is Doge the new internet, no, ICP is. Stop being myopic. Avalanche (AVAX)

because most are on discount at the moment. some people might have the urge to immediately fill their bags with the altcoins they want.
but remember to buy gradually. the market is still very unstable. fill your bag gradually. just to anticipate if a deeper dump occurs.
I bought some BNB, LUNA, and SOL. all of them are at a pretty big discount. just hope the market won't be in a long downtrend.

It's better to buy top altcoins in bear market because they have a better chance of growing big in future, bear market only creates new opportunities for smart investors, only smart investors knows when to buy cheap and never get tired of holding, Luna gets high as 100$ and now its 60$, if in near future Luna loses value and turn 10$ per coin its definitely a good buy.
Actually I was waiting for these days, seeing Bitcoin experience a very significant price decline. Luckily I've withdrawn all my crypto assets except USDT, let's pray that Bitcoin can't hold its support so it can reach the $20K price range
If that happens, I will put all my money in Oasis Network (ROSE) for a huge profit.Anyways, if we can't hold the market from declining I will buy more Bitcoin and ETH.

I think it's too risky to take the coin with bear market conditions. It's not that the bear market doesn't end, if we enter the start of a bear market a lot of different communities and the media spread FUD makes all coins can drop much lower it will worry us. I prefer to put it in USDT, if necessary put it in the staking binance feature, so there is no worry about price speculation. but if there's a good moment I'll jump right in to take advantage of it.
I probably like these five coins Solana(SOL), Ethereum (ETH), Apecoin (APE), Acala Token (ACA) Polygon (MATIC) to invest with because these are giving you profits in middle and in long term of investing . Six is enough for me and the last is the mother of crypto currencies which is bitcoin I want to invest. Bitcoin is for long term investing you can gain more profits in the right time so without a doubt that many people will choose to invest btc.
Apecoin did what it could already, if NFTs goes south tomorrow that project will be meaningless, even if I am buying one way or the other it must be in a discount price probably when things turn ugly for the whole crypto market, Apecoin for 5$ will feel so good 😁 .

The Polygon network has a lot of potential, same with projects like Avalanche and Polkadot, they're all at a discount currently. As mentioned before bitcoin and eth are always good to have imho, especially btc.
From what you're suggesting it only points to Bitcoin, it means the others won't be good if Bitcoin continues to be as bad as it is now, so why are you suggesting Polygon, Avalanche, Polkadot and Ethereum ? If indeed in the end it is for Bitcoin.

In a bear market, you must hold stablecoins so that your wallet does not depreciate. Polygon and BNB will be good investments only when we see confirmation that the market has turned up and become bullish. That's when we'll need stablecoins to buy coins at a low price.

Bear market hits on every coin and there's no assurance that your list can avoid being dragged down. IMO, it's a good list you have there and some of them are in my portfolio.
Today is a bloody market, all we can do is endure these crazy times and maybe look for gems that could withstand a dump and be profitable in the future.
