Cool  Cool  Cool In what countries is it easy to find retailers and other service providers that are set up to receive Bitcoin for payment?

I would recommend a small, but a modern EU country Lithuania, yes I am from here, but that is not a main reason.
We have a blockchain centre in a capital city Vilnius, exchange places for cryptocurrencies, people who are really good in the blockchain market. Our business companies and a government support ideas of modern tendencies. Also we have competitive ICO projects in a world market and great IT specialists!

Japan is the undisputed best country in the world for bitcoin, it has given some form of legal framework for bitcoin to be recognized as an alternative means   of payment and exchange, I don't think any other country has done this. I stand to be corrected though.

Japan has the most widespread adoption of cryptos also by his government
other noticeable places are Switzerland that is called the “Crypto Valley” and has a huge ecosystem and active companies promoting.
Singapore is another fast moving country in the space and many ICO are registered there.

If you can investigate then you will find that every country is more or less related to it just it is not published publicly. But it is still suspended mainly

Interesting point, thank you! Smiley

Surprisingly enough, tiny Estonia is doing quite well in this area. They have a very tech-friendly government that is willing to allow for innovations like blockchain technology for healthcare, banking services, etc. Here's an interesting article about the top countries for BTC:

In terms of reception Bitcoin as payment for goods and services, today European countries and the USA are more widely spread. Asian countries, such as China and Korea, although they recognize Bitcoin but do not particularly seek to replace the fiat money for crypto currency.

As I know it's Japan. In this country there is easy to pay by BTC even in stores.
But not everyone will go to Japan.

By the way I've heard that Cyprus Nicosia University plans to take bitcoins for services of education  Smiley

I would Japan first because there is a place there that allows you to pay in bitcoin at almost all their stores in that district.
Also that one place in Europe that has named themselves bitcoin land.
I think it was in Denmark or somewhere in that area of the country. Undecided
