I don't really know what courses you should take to understand blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, because the knowledge in this forum in my opinion is more than enough to know the ins and outs of blockchain and cryptocurrency. I studied everything in this forum and got involved in various discussions letting me know about blockchain and crypto without having to take courses.

reading more and learning what you want to master will be essential to mastering it. don't just focus on one source, but many other sources that you can try.

What is a good cryptocurrency course for me to get a holistic grasp of everything and which will explain all of the technical terms in detail? And what are the sciences needed for one to understand the ins and outs of crypto meticulously? (ex: cryptography, finance).
I don’t know which courses to recommend to you because everything I learnt about Bitcoin I learnt them by doing research on Google and from this forum and nothing like having to go through any course or whatsoever. But, it still depends on what exactly you want to learn concerning Bitcoin, if it’s the basic things , you can learn them easily and there are lots of websites that teaches you the basic things about Bitcoin.

You can check Coindesk, you can learn a lot of things. Then if what you’re trying to learn are advanced things that has to do do with Bitcoin and the Blockchain, then I’d agree that has to do with some courses which you’re going to be able to find on teaching platforms like Udemy and Coursera, or you can still look from other platforms.

I've created a topic with quite a few cryptocurrency courses from renowned universities from around the globe. Moreover, professional certificates are distributed if you pass successfully.

Make sure to check it out, you'll find the most known/best ones around, I've done my research.

I am not interested in investing in cryptocurrency. I want to understand crypto inside and out, every aspect. In order for me to do that I am going to need to start off with a piece of reliable material (a good book, or a good course - not a college course, but an online course) which will teach the most important aspects of crypto and explain/give definitions to the technical terms such as "blockchain" etc. Once ive done that I will look for a more extensive work and study it. After that I will work on studying every part of crypto individually to arrive at the essence of what it is essentially. So I am basically asking for a good primer which will be a good foundation that I can build upon. Thanks.

LOL, how can you understand crypto inside and out, if you have never been a part of all aspects of crypto, it is not enough to just learn it based on theory. I don't like relying on theory alone. I think you have misunderstood the perception here. if you are analyzing something, then you must be a part of it. unless you are not an expert at learning anything.
You are more appropriate as data manipulation, because from the point of view, the objective is only to conduct research based on quantitative, not qualitative. so if you are not going to invest in cryptocurrency, then you will not know how the ins and outs of crypto are? while the essence of it all is to apply it directly in the field. I'm sure it will NOT work.

I am not interested in investing in crypto for the sake of investing. But of course i know I have to invest and get involved in order to complete the learning experience.

I highly suggest these books/ topics for starters:
Economics 101
Stock Market 101
Rich Dad, Poor Dad
Blockchain
Fintech
Trading Secrets
Trading Patters
Trading Psychology

I am reading these as well and search for some specific books to read, reading books is the very first thing we should do in trading so we can have some guides before we start. You can browse some YouTube channels related to cryptocurrency and sometimes Forex /Stocks just for some insights about trading patterns.

Well, to me a good crypto course should have contents on the following areas;
1.introduction to cryptocurrencies.
2. Blockchain
3. Crypto exchanges
4. Crypto Wallets
5. Crypto trading
6. Crypto Investing
7. Crypto Mining.

with these, you should have a very good knowledge about the subject of cryptocurrency. I feel you could acquire most of the knowledge on this platform, but you need to put in the hardwork to search for contents.

actually in cryptocurrency you don't need to worry about anything, you just need to find out for yourself and I'm sure that will make you understand, gradually you will understand all the ins and outs of cryptocurrency. I am not a highly educated person. I only graduated from elementary school, and do not rule out, the fact is that I can be with the best people in the world of crypto, which is to be in this forum. a pride in itself. all you have to do is don't be lazy to learn, keep reading every crypto-related article. and note that you will not understand crypto if you don't love it so the important key to understanding the ins and outs of cryptocurrency is loving it. because I believe we are here for the same reason 1 is "our love of crypto". as for the benefit of all of this, is the fruit of what we do with all our hearts.

The best approach of learning is practicing. you only know what you do and you don't know what you don't practice. This is how i apply this model. When i first started out learning crypto, i had the passion just as you said but beyond that i did something profound.
when  learnt about wallet, i downloaded it . when i learnt about trading and investing, i bought some coins and started observing how these concepts really work. So, i can tell you that i can now teach others because i have read and experiment with the knowledge.

If you can do the same, you will be fine and be glad you did.

I first learned this from a friend. But eventually, I learned more about it from videos online. There are a lot of materials available online to start with and in the long run, I was able to build my own strategy on trading and investing in Bitcoin. One of the best courses I had that really helped me out in this market is about being able to read graphs with the applications of different studies. I was able to maximize more profits when I applied these studies. You can try the studies I use and search it online on how to read it which are Bol, MACD, RSI and Volumes.

There are other studies as well that you can apply in your trading and investing. No one can predict exactly the when will a market rise or crash but you can have these studies as indicators on what is a good entry point and build an exit strategy to take the profits.

Cryptocurrency course?
I'm not familiar with it.  I think almost everyone is trying their best and learning about cryptocurrency trading from YouTube, Google.

If anyone encounters a problem related to cryptocurrency, I think they will find a solution from YouTube,  Google.

all you need is:
1. lucky
2. ready for the risk
3. strong hand
because investing in cryptocurrency you don't need to understand anything, the most important thing is that you invest in projects that do have a product and progress, then you shouldn't be greedy and know when is the right time to sell your altcoin, besides that you also shouldn't panic selling when your altcoin price go down, so when is your altcoin go down then you must be ready to HOLD for the long term, because if the project you are investing is a good project then the price will definitely increase very high again, therefore I would recommend you to invest in altcoin that are in the top 100 on CoinMarketCap, because the price will definitely increase and has a small risk.

You can not learn all things in one course and in short period. You need time to digest courses, documents, and must be patience to keep up your learning regularly.

Many courses for you

Many books for you (I would like to read books because it can help me to highlight important points and re-read later). It is more easily than watching courses with videos.

What are you trying to say about cryptocurrency course? Course as in course in the school? Or are trying to say course that you may study? Actually I know a lot of people who just study in YouTube by just watching what they need to know and there are also some technical problems there that you may find solutions. All of you want to know about cryptocurrency is already in the internet all you just need to do is to have the courage to study it. If you want to learn on how to do trading then probably there are some online seminars that you might get in order for you to gain knowledge on what you need to do. Another thing is that since you are here in the forum, there's a lot of veterans here that may help you.
