my advice to you is to use ETH wallet. In addition, many coin options for Bitcoin. Eth wallet is also easy to use and security is guaranteed.
Let's see at https://www.myetherwallet.com/ Wink

Still the best to me and Trezor hardware wallet.. As long you keep your private keys sae, I believe you should be safe

Etherium Classic is ERC20 token and so I am using myetherwallet to store all my etherium classic the same way I am using myetherwallet to store my other erc20 tokens.
There is no way to you can use MEW or other kinds of ethereum wallet ( unless it is a centralized online walelt) to store ethereum. You need to learn or read something before informing people. Information needs to be true.

10 ETC have been stolen from me with the wallet hack end of june.

Now I want to buy a larger amount of ETC but want a more safer wallet..
Witch one do you recomment?

I prefer you to that, myetherwallet is the best wallet.
But some of wallet are so good.
As like Jaxx, Classicethereallet thus are also good.
You can try this one from my suggest or another.
Best of luck. Try your best.

The question is to know if you lost ETC because of a wallet leak, or because of a human error (fishing, clicking on wrong link... etc)
Generally it's our habits that we must change and not an issue of wallet.

If it was because of the wallet, indeed, you should think about the nano ledger

You should use Ledger Nano S or Trezor and forget about hacks, fishing and so on Wink
Ledger Nano S can store a maximum of 4 to 5 coins. Then he is full. More coins do not fit in.
There must be a coin cleared then before A new coin is installed

Many times asked same question. Here is my solution.
If you are going to hold all of your coins you can use Ledger Nano but if you don't have much coins and going to spend them daily you can use myetherwallet
If you are planning to trade there are some good exchanges to store small amount of money (Don't risk too much)

Maaan, how it got stolen? I'm using coinomi and got no problems with it. You may want to use ClassicMask, it's a browser plugin. It's like metamask but for ETC.
