No best exchange for new token i think. If you see your new token listed on exchange, that is the best exchange at the moment.
New token usually not listed on exchanges, except on decentralized exchange like forkdelta by creating sell order there.
If you say "there is no best exchange for new tokens" then you have ignored all the popular exchanges such as binance, kucoin, okex and others, because for me new tokens that have no exchange, then the token is rubbish, because it has no value and not in the market.

Kucoin, Huobi, okex are a good exchange to try your new project listing if the project is solid and not just another shit wanting to collect money from the community and dump on them. Tell me, why are you asking? Do you want to create a new token to make more money? why not partner with already existing projects?

New tokens are difficult to list in good exchanges if they have no power, there are many new projects launched, and see what happens, 80% will only be listed on IDEX, LAToken or P2pb2b. and only 20% can enter Kucoin, Huobi, Bitforex or Binance

I personally think the quality of new tokens will be able to get into the list of large exchangers if they have market potential, but I think for exchangers that are good enough to list a token is houbi is enough to be the start, but larger exchanges can be better like binance and also the most important thing is the quality of the token

What are the best exchanges to try and get your new token listed on? I'm talking about realistic exchanges that you actually have a chance with.

Token listing does not always depend on the team that controls the token; it is basically a tough task.
The truth though is that, if i have a project; it has to be listed in any of the top 20 exchanges that we have today.

But it isn't an easy task; the project has to be commendable, with a good product that coexist with adoption; then you can convince a better exchange for partnership

The best exchange that a new token can be listed is Binance, but that is very difficult, Binance's standards are very strict.
In fact, a number of projects are listed on poor exchanges like Latoken, p2pb2b
yes, it is not easy for a new project to register their tokens on a large exchange such as Binance. I haven't even seen this year about the new tokens generated from the ico project and listed on the Binance exchange. most of the things I see are, on average, new tokens are listed on shady exchanges such as P2PB2B and PROBIT.

Of course, Binance is the main solution when tokens will be listed on the exchange, although it seems they must have enough funds to be able to register there. But as an alternative, I would recommend it on bitforex or kucoin, because it looks like these two exchanges are very suitable when getting tokens on the market for the first time.

for the bitforex yes because that exchange isnt really well known    .  many not popular exchange mostly hold token while kuckoin isnt new  .

kuckoin is recognize as a top exchange too and mostly top exchange are famous for top crypto coins too but yes kuckoin might be a good alternative in regard to fees and beng less strict as long as you are creating a good coin ( not just a token )  . but if ever they got a good budget and a good quality coin then binance should be the best suggestion for it no doubt .
Bitforex is not very well known, but at least there are a few coins when the list there is good and many are interested. One example is digital gold, this coin has become a lot of interest there, although the biggest influence of this coin is good because it is backed by real gold. But back to the policy and foresight of the owner of the token in registering the token on the exchange for the first time.

New developers don't always do good research on exchanges that's why they end up picking bad exchanges, there are still well rated exchanges that are better and not as costly as listing on Binance

1. Upbit
2. BZ.com
3. bigONE
4. Cointiger
5. Bithumb
6. Probit

These Exchanges are still good or less costly

As you mentioned those are still good exchanges from your thoughts, i think these are almost bad reputed exchanges. I see Bithumb is only the major exchange in there but it’s too much demanded to list in exchange as far as liquidity. All of these less costly because of shady exchanges. You how much researches to chosen these exchanges?

Well, I am not going to beat around the bush and say that binance is by far the best one out there for sure. If you as a new token somehow convince binance to list you, that means you have to be something special, you have to have a huge community and you have to have a lot of people trading you as well, Binance is not going to list a coin just because it is good neither, they want trading fees and they will list it only if it is a good project that also could make them money as well.

If you are not really that high just yet, go to coinmarketcap or coingekko and check out the volumes of exchanges, remove the fake ones and whatever is left that has real volume and high on the list, just try to be listed on as high as you can, the more you are listed the better.

i know of a project that run a massive marketing campaign. they did there best to promote their project. they started listing on small exchanges like probit, latoken, exmarkets. as we speak they have listed on kucoin, bitmax and other big market. you need ot attract the market first before looking out on mid-range exchange to list your token. you might get delisted if you list on big exchange but failed to get volume.

For now no matter exchange as long they are normal and legit about deposit and withdrawal. Because from what i see, people only want it listed in exchange no matter what exchange is so othey can sell their tokens immediately. But will be good if can be listed in bigger exchange at first.

Small exchange maybe? But remember that some investors want coins on big exchanges because they trust the volume and the safety of the token they are investing to. Entering a small exchange is easy but risky for a project team. Because of the failures of other projects that entered on a small exchange and run afterward, The trust of the investors was gone.

If you are serious enough in your project, Aim for the big exchange. The qualification is being listed is hard but it will surely pay off with the success of the token. Try a big exchange like Binance, Hitbtc, Huobi, or Kucoin.

The truly realistic exchanges at the moment are Okex, Kucoin and Binance, because I have all three exchanges and have never experienced any problems, if there were any, they immediately handled it quickly.
But it's hard for you to be listed at these exchanges. If you want to be listed there, your project must be the best in this market, and you need to pay a large amount of listing fees.

I think Binance and Kucoin are very good exchanges. But the most important thing is that your project will have a strong use-case only then you can list on these exchanges.

You cannot expect projects listed at Binance, Okex, Huobi .. because they have many different rules and procedures for selecting projects. But for smaller exchanges like Oceanx, Bitforex, Coinall .. I think you can easily achieve if you have a great deal with them.

Binance is the best exchange for me but my new tokens here that I received from the bounties are not listed in the binance exchange. Most of them were listed in small exchanges and some in shady exchange you know.
Since I'm here, there are very few projects running bounty listed at Binance. From last year until now, I only see Harmony and Cartesi are projects listed at Binance. And they had a great bounty that helped a lot of people get profit by joining them

What are the best exchanges to try and get your new token listed on? I'm talking about realistic exchanges that you actually have a chance with.

There are things to consider first;
a. Is it listing for IEO or,
b. The team already have funds maybe from private investors and is good to go for direct listing.
For the first one, that is IEO, it depends on the amount the team wishes to use for listing, top exchanges are known for charging high, therefore other exchanges such as gate or Kucoin can still be good. But if the team believes they have the amount then Binance or OKEx.
On the other hand, if the team already have the funds for direct listing, personally I think starting with exchanges such as Kucoin and gate is still better then from there, going for other top exchanges.
