And there are no more "true" faucets, it's actually captcha solving for BTC

It is to prevent bots from drying down the faucets. IP check is not enought

I mean the softwares floating around youtube  that claim to generate bitcoins to your wallet address.

Do you have an example link?

Something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSp-cx5d1tg
Tried all none worked, but people did post positive comments  Huh

I tried all the faucets on landofbitcoin for about 2-3 hours. Got my first bitcoins, in form of two transactions, but it totals just .00015805
Not worth it, i guess. Btw what's the thing with those bitcoin generators floating around, anyone here generated some ?

Yes, not worth it. You can now send .00005805 with .0001 fee  Sad

What do you mean bitcoin generators ?

I just lowered my faucet payouts by a large amount. The fact that bitcoins went up to $330, means that faucet owners need to lower payouts (to keep the faucet's pool on par with advertisement revenue).

True. The "original" faucet just paid 0.05BTC once per IP address. No captcha, no ads.

Sure there are many faucet will lower their rewards now since the price increases

that's usually not the case. They mostly give out 0.00001BTC or 0.000001BTC

No-one bothers to readjust that tiny amount, whatever price may be.

I stand corrected, the faucet I've linked to earlier (freebitcoin (ref)) just lowered it's payouts by 30%.

And there are no more "true" faucets, it's actually captcha solving for BTC

I think they might mean this:

http://www.bitcoinplus.com/

It might've been worth it back in the day.. Not so much now..lol
I actually read they were scamming and nobody got paid even when they got the ridiculously high minimum cashout.

It's true that faucets don't pay a lot but if you're sat at a computer and bored, then why not accumulate some dust. If you keep it then one day in the future it might well be worth something.

Go through http://coinreaper.com every day, and you should get a few mbtc's in a week. Also check the gambling section as some sites tend to give away free BTC's.

now that price is going up, they'll probably just lower the rewards..... faucets are sort of a waste of time.
