You will surely know if you have enough interest or enough patience to know. First let me tell you the journey you are about to embark on but the journey is not that easy. You have to face many challenges and there you must have enough patience as well as you have to develop a tendency to take risks. If you want to accept these things and move forward, you are welcome here. First you need to know the basics of trading, from how to start and how to choose the right coin.

After knowing these things you must create an account in any one of the exchange and then deposit your money there by depositing and then you have to apply the tutorial.
Apart from these, you should regularly monitor the charts and learn to understand the candles. If you can learn these things carefully then the next stages of trading will be easier for you so focus more on the basics.

Hi i am new into crypto world and i want to learn as much as possible so i ask if anyone know what is the basic steps to start and what guide is the best? I understand this is most different from what people think.. but it cant hurt to read it all.
First i just want to buy bitcoin for around 1000€. i will look at youtube today what the best way to do it is, then i want to learn trading but i will wait for that until i have teach myself more. we all start from scratch sometime?
I am so thankful for alll members here that taking their time to help me
Am not a good trader as I even a loser but what I can advise you is to seek Mentor if you wanted
to learn Basic trading lessons as there are lots of them in the internet now , just make sure to never let
them handle the funds for you meaning never give them any single amount aside from the mentorship fee.
because trading in Youtube University is really hard to gather information that will lead you to lose
in the time coming .

And put in mind that you need to learn before earning, don't run fast in making money because there
is a time for that .. focus first in your mentors advise and of course your own research over the internet
as they are all available at time.

YouTube will give you a very go idea into how you go about crypto and trading related things but one thing I know is that the knowledge you get from there may not be wholesome and you may end up making mistakes trying to use the knowledge you got from those videos on YouTube and the procedures you see there because some of them are just snippets to lure you to registering for their mentorship programs and probably purchase some.of their educational materials too, so total reliance and dependence on YouTube lessons for proper knowledge in crypto and trading may not be your best bet

Getting a good mentor who's doing it well and it's evident he or she is doing well trading or investing in crypto is such persons you should pay to get their knowledge and then capitalize on it to get the best out of cryptocurrency and trading, any other thing outside this should be your trying to improve over time on your knowledge you have acquired already. Self development isn't bad tho but it will take longer coupled with too many mistakes.

It seems like he still doesn't have any basic knowledge about bitcoin and the market . So I think he should take the time to learn what bitcoin is, what cryptocurrency is, basic concepts like decentralization , non custodial wallets , centralized exchanges...he shouldn't rush to buy bitcoin or into trading without basic knowledge. If he buys bitcoin now or rushes into trading, it will only make him lose money faster without bringing him any benefit.

OP, there is a lot of beginner material right on the forum that you can find on your own or can easily be found on YouTube channels . You should learn the basics instead of diving into investing or trading .
I think the same as you and that is why he must spend his time to learns more about crypto so he will know what he needs to do. Someone who can learns many things about crypto will have their experiences improves and he can decides what is better for him although he gets many advices from us. He can also learns from this forum and asks many things to experienced members who can teach him about many things. If he can have a will, he will see that its not takes too long to understand what is crypto and else so he can start to buy Bitcoin like other people.

The forum is also a place full of knowledge for those who are eager to learn or OP can learn anywhere, anyone as long as it feels suitable for him and helps him acquire good knowledge.

Many newbies have a hasty investment mindset because they are afraid that the market will increase in price and they will miss the opportunity, but this is a wrong mindset. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are a financial market and they are always moving 24/7, so there will always be opportunities for us and it is never too late to invest. The important thing to make profit is not to invest early or invest late but we need to have knowledge. Only with knowledge can we make profits, rushing to invest without knowledge we are only participating in this to become a liquidity pool for others.

According to what you mentioned already, the first and foremost step is to own a wallet probably a mixture of hot and cold wallets and know how to buy your preferred coins to trade with and how to withdraw, transfer or deposit your funds.
Then, that's when the YouTube videos would do well to teach all other things like how to set up a trading account on any decentralized exchange and then the safest or easiest technique to trade as a newbie until you get to a professional stage where other techniques are exposed with experience and more acquisition of knowledge.
Learning about own a wallet will not too difficult as long as they wants to learns from many sources. They don't have to buy a hardware wallets if they don't have much money. They can use their Android phone to install the wallet and learns more about that. He can learns from many videos available on Youtube and that will no needs to long to understand about how to use the wallets. He can moves to the next lessons which is how to have an account on the exchanges and he can learns that from Youtube. The key here is we wants to learn more and more than other people so we can have many information that will useful for us and knows how to do.

wow, so many good information from everyone posts. thanks i will read everyone closely today.

It's easy to invest if you have money to buy an investment. The difficult part is that you don't have any knowledge of trading or an idea of how successful investors actually operate the crypto they buy and hold long- or short-term.

Do you know which investor category you belong to? You must also know what strategy you will use correctly, and there must be a so-called correct analysis that is done when reading the chart on any exchange site platform.

I hope that you will not be able to watch a youtube video that's all about shilling their new projects. That's what most of the tutorial nowadays.

And after that, you will be guided by them on how to buy that specific token instead of how to buy Bitcoin. Start buying from known exchanges in your country and not with any other global exchange that's not operating in your country.
If Op doesn't have friends who understand cryptocurrency, where will he ask if he doesn't understand? I don't think there's anything wrong for beginners to look for things or knowledge on social media like YouTube, I think it's quite good for finding information. Anyway, OP asked to buy Bitcoin, there's no way OP made a typo when searching on YouTube. I think op thought about it how to register on the exchange.

but then again op wants to be a trader, For me, if you want to become a trader, it's best not to use that much money, just use a small amount to try it, around 20€ to 50€.
Don't be too eager to make a profit there, this will cause you to lose a lot of your money, you are not equipped or equipped with knowledge, you only pay attention or watch YouTube and are not directly involved and have no experience there.

I am not denying that Youtube is filled with lot of misleading tutorials but it won't be that hard to find the actual simple tutorial to buy and trade on an exchange either. And it's not rocket science either, all you need is just an email and KYC documents for verification the only thing is he needs to end up an actual exchange instead of clone sites cause there are lot out there pretending to be reputed exchange.

if i ask you, if you would buy bitcoin right now, where would you go? its just a question
If you don't mind KYC, you can register for Binance, KuCoin, or other CEX exchanges. But if you don't want to do KYC, you can choose DEX, like hodlhold.com, or other options.

You should have a goal before buying Bitcoin, whether for trading or investing because both are different. If you want to trade, you have to be able to determine when you can buy Bitcoin at a low price, sell it at a high price, and repeat this process to get big profits.

If you want to invest, you don't need to do that. Just focus on buying Bitcoin once a week or once a month and do that continuously.

But you should learn about analysis first to determine when to buy and sell. The important thing is that you can be calm when the price goes down and see it as an opportunity to buy Bitcoin again.

Welcome to the crypto path, first of all, you must need to analyze what are you trying to invest in basic understanding or concept before joining into an investment, what coin you would like to investment, what its perks of holding it, until when you will hold your coin, next is where to buy, im using an exchange like binance, mexc, crypto.com, kucoin you can choose where you prefer or suitable with your trading habit and next what kind of wallet like electrum or hardware wallet that you can store your asset, you can hold your coins in exchange but not recommended if you are not an active trader this prevents to lose your money. Not your keys, not your coins.

Acknowledging your intro as a newbie in the Crypto sphere and your quest to venture into the crypto market as trader, I'd just want to call on your attention to be sure of what you mean because as a newbie, there's possibilities of misconception between trading and Investing on bitcoin which I doubt if you mean to trade instead of to invest.
In differentiation, Trading on bitcoin evolves around a short term goal which can be very risky because their trading times could always befall the downtimes of the market price which they can't objected to. Investing evolves around long term goal with an objective to catch up during a market increase.
So I'll let you take a path to be sure of your desired before I can proceed to be best guidance I can afford.

You just have to understand how the market works so you can buy BTC. You could even come up a strategy when you understand the market.

Understand that there is a pool or buyers and pool of sellers inside an exchange and that where you will try to chose which price you going to take when you want to buy. The cheapest is likely the one that you need to find in the orderbook type of exchange.
Market works like it dips and pumps. Even though it's also basic but I think he should focus more/first on how BTC works. Anyway, the OP is here because he wants us to spooonfeed him even though it's only easy or basic to look for the basics in Bitcoin ecosystem such as buying our first BTC. I think understanding the market is not enough to immediately come up with a strategy but we need actions first and built enough experience.

Once we start learning from our mistakes, that's where strategy will show up. The orderbook thing you said there seems not made for the beginners but there are still exchanges or should I say swapping platform that are instant. He can start there first. BTW they are also found inside of some crypto wallets.

It is difficult for a new person who has just started learning about trading and who wants to apply it practically to make a decision in the field of trading. It is very important that we always take the right decision in trading. I did not understand a thing, so I tried different ways to understand that thing and shared it with others, but we can know that thing, but if we do that thing without understanding one thing, then it will be wrong in that thing. Trading is a very short term but its significance is not so simple because of many reasons. Trading requires a lot of understanding, a lot of knowledge and learning from the market at every moment. As we have to analyze the market at every moment, we have to try to get an idea about how the market will change at every moment. Even after applying our best skills, we have to be in doubt as to which direction the market will move. Therefore, before trading, you should know well and then trade, it will reduce the risk of money a lot.

Don't hurry too much, calm down and don't join the market with trading if you don't have understand about it. Use your time to learn about this market, and start when you feel you have good knowledge already.

Awesome Cryptocurrency Trading.

When you finish your learning, start with Spot trading for purchasing your bitcoin, and withdraw it to your non custodial wallet. Hold your bitcoin, you will get good profit next 6 months and longer time even without need to trade daily.

Don't use margin and futures trading as a newbie in this market, you will lose your bitcoin.

First i just want to buy bitcoin for around 1000€.
Do as above recommendation and you can buy it with one purchase or do DCA.

An example with $40 DCA each month, do this last 4 years, total invested capital $1,480. You can see good ROI.
