I'm hearing rumour about how good rtx3050ti are good for mining though power consumption wise can anyone confirm this for me? I'm only seen 3050ti in laptops not standalone graphic cards
Don't trust rumors. Graphics cards in laptops are a very bad option for mining right now.

If you like rumors, then analogs of the rtx-3050 should be on sale next year.
The rumour is only about 3050s in laptops, I've used a MSI laptop with 1660super to mine before and after making my money back I sold for good price, saying that laptops are very bad for mining is wrong, my 1660super laptop delivers 30MH mining ETH I got over 2$ per day starting January of this year

The RTX 3060 ,3060ti and 3070 are the best RTX graphic cards, the problem is their scarcity at the present time, also you can get A4000 GPUs in China right now as they aren't very hard to see compare to RTX 3060ti and 3070 non LHR

CMP170HX, best hashrate and power efficiency (160Mh/194W). IIRC A4000 is the next one efficiency wise.
If you can find them, of course.
I've never seen any of this CMP graphic cards in stock before I believe they are extremely rare than even the RTX non LHR GPUs anyways it doesn't matter anymore because crypto market is not stable again so mining will surely be less profitable

These are never available in retail stores, you have to shop Chinese datacenter suppliers. A4000/5000, however, can be found in retail.

i am selling my old gtx cards and want your opinions about the best rtx card from the watt/hash point of view
If you are a beginner, then don't buy hot video cards like the RTX 3080 and above.
Better use RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 with any modifications in the name(Ti, super- if it will) . They do not heat up, do not consume a lot of electricity and do not require the purchase of a closed case with active cooling.

What type of gtx cards you own? If it's the 1660ti and super series it makes no sense selling them right now that GPU price are still very much higher, keep mining with the cards for now and sell when GPU price goes low
i own some gtx 1060 3g , also when gpu price is low it's time to buy not sell

RTX3060ti non LHR is the best, 120watt power consumption for 61MH is top notch since RTX cards is what you asked for, 3070s are good too but price wise 3060ti is better because 3060ti is more cheaper and the difference is hashrate performance is just 3-4MH

rtx 3060 ti
if u found some non lhr take it man, but on lhr side was lucky nice one,my friend got 50mh/sec on octopus and around 38-40 on dagger hashimoto on lhr version.

LHR cards are good for many other algorithms except Ethereum mining, the lock doesn't affect ergo mining and Ravencoin as I heard and also the miners have unlocked some percentage of the locked hashrate already, I have 3070ti which was LHR from factory and I was able to get 48MH until NBminer new update gets me closer to 60MH

what about rtx 3090 24G i think no LHR version of this card
There is no LHR variants for rtx3090s not even the new one 3090ti because this card is too costly for miners to choose as favourite, also I don't know how the new one will perform in terms of cooling mechanism, 3090s are hot like hell lol 🤣 so I do hope that the new 3090ti will be better including the 3090 24G

is there a way to know the LHR versions without unboxing it

Yes, you can look at the box and see if there's mention to LHR
Like this

Another way is to search on manufacturer's exact model and you can find if it's LHR or not

But being realistic, it's pretty hard to find non lhr cards
Not all LHR GPUs have LHR written on their boxes, when buying a RTX GPU just make sure they package says v1 most especially gigabyte cards always write v1 as an identification for non LHR GPUs or just go for RTX A series they are good for mining just like 3070 and 3060ti, the A4000 gives 60MH while the A5000 gives double

3060ti or 3070 non lhr's because you dont need to change memory thermal pads, gddr6 doesn't get that hot compared to gddr6x, however if you change the memory thermal pads on the 3080 non lhr and 3090 then in my opinion they are better alternatives than 3060ti or 3070, higher density, less hassle, more uptime.

Why don't you go for AMD cards? I'm tired of Nvidia graphics cards because of LHR but the new A4000 and A5000 are better alternative if Nvidia is a must for you, I presently prefer AMD cards like rx5600 or rx6600
