I would say option two makes the most sense at this time since the price is down
Can invest it in just dice or just hold it and see where it goes in the long run.

Buy the underlying (Bitcoin) not a derivative.

You can try to get into the crypto-currency world.
you need to learn a little bit before you put big amount of money. just start with 10% of what you got to study the market.
I can always help and give some tips to start.

For example,  NAUTcoin and DARKcoin rised in more than 600% in couple days. Some people made a nice ride on it  Cool

Might check that out.  Toyed with the idea of investing 1/5 in each of the 5 big crypto coins, to hedge my bets.  Most of them seem to be in a slump at the moment though.

I suppose find out whatever is big on Silk Road II and go with that.  Wink

make a research before you put the money in.

You will only identify the bottom afterwards.

Definitely don't buy.

It is always advantageous to not have other people do what youre doing.  If you're in buy mode you want a nice low price so you want others selling.

And vice versa.

Make your own decisions.  Don't ask for advice.

And don't buy.  Always wait until the hordes are buying.  Stick with the flock so you can be fleeced

Say I have some money (not A LOT but enough) and I want to invest it in something bit coin related.  What is my best bet?  As I see it there are several things I can do with my money.

1)  Get some hardware and start mining.  LOL.
2)  Buy some Bitcoins.
3)  Invest in virtual cloud hashing.
4)  Something else?

The first one is a no go.  The third one sort of assumes you earn more btc than you spend on the contract (or its monetary equivalent).  Lots of ifs there.

Buying btc seems a good option but if you look at the price charts for the last year, the prices are high and they are still going down.  They re still about 4x what they were last year.  If you buy now the value may go down before it goes back up again.  In which case its best to wait till it bottoms out and buy then.

Any suggestions on option 3?

My gut says do something but my brain says leave it 6 months.
