Try monero. Monero is a crypto-currency which was developed with privacy in mind and is completely anonymous unlike Bitcoin witches send me anonymous. With my narrow, it is impossible for anyone to track who you are or what you purchase. So if you want privacy, that is my recommendation for you.

Online wallet is made and used to be hacked xd.Theres no such privacy thing or secured thing online the only secured wallet you can get on to this date is hardware wallets and physical wallets like trezor.Once you get to keep your funds with you everyday thats next level security.

I believe when it comes online there's no privacy or security. try cold storage or paper wallet. If you will use that kind of wallet I am sure that you will get the privacy and security that you want. If you want to be secured avoid online wallet. cold storage wallet or hardware wallet is the best. Smiley

Try hardware wallet like Ledger. Or just non custodial like Exodus, Guarda, Ownr, Coinomi.

If anyone has your address then he can easily see the incoming and outgoing transactions on the blockchain explorer no matter what wallet are you using. So it's impossible in cryptocurrency to do this. But yes no one would know the owner of the address from which money is coming or going. If you are so worried about your privacy and have somewhat large dealings then you can use Bitcoin Mixers. Some popular are Chipmixer and bitblender. These mixers will move your money from various addresses in small amounts making it almost impossible to trace even a satoshi because there is almost no trail left. But they are useful only if you do them once a while because even the minimum fees per is 0.001 which can be $8 as per current price not that much but still a big expense to do it daily.

the best online wallet for privacy is called Samurai wallet. It is a technology built so that you have anonymous be with your transactions so that you cannot be traced by the government for example. Maybe this will help criminals to evade taxes, but it it  is also good for general privacy the average citizen.

I would not recommend using online wallets. Instead, you can install an Atomic wallet on your phone or computer

Hardware wallet best suits your need since you will be the one handlig your own key for your wallet. I doubt if there is an online wallet that can provide what you need. If you want to secure your fund, invest on a hardware wallet.

If you are really looking for a reliable online wallet for cryptocurrencies , then, in my opinion, the best solution is https://www.blockchain.com. This is the most popular online wallet, which means that most users trust it. It supports several cryptocurrencies and does not require KYC verification.

A cheap option could be an USB stick with Tails OS and Electrum. Afaik it goes to the internet through TOR.

It's not an online wallet (online wallets are neither safe, nor privacy oriented) and you'll need a computer or laptop that can boot from that stick. And you may need to update Electrum to the latest version, so tech background is needed.

If you don't have that tech background, Ledger or Trezor are your best options, really. With their apps or with Electrum.

Always make sure you save extra safe the seed.

Don't use any online wallet if you want security or anonymity, Use offline wallet my personal pick for that is Ledger or Trezor those two offline wallet is the best in terms of security and of course it is easy to use and user friendly. I have a ledger on my own and I can say that Ledger is very secured and easy to use. and besides their user interface is very good. I hope this will change your mind. Choose offline wallet!

The only wallet I can recommend to you are electrum were it is one of the cold wallet, or you could try https://www.exodus.io/(exodus),
but if you have enough money better for you to buy hardware wallet or Nano ledger, with this your assets are surely 100% really
safe and secured.

Nothing beats the original Bitcoin Core wallet. Yes, it is "online" and does require a lot of space to download the entire blockchain, but you do support the network and relay transactions and you don't need to tell anyone about it.

No one is getting in your business unless you tell them about your business. Can even run it over Tor.

Even Electrum, despite relying on Electrum servers, has better privacy than any other web wallet. Don't use web wallets unless you're just experimenting. I don't see the need to use any other wallets, even for mobile devices or android systems. They include Bitcoin Wallet for Android and Electrum for Android (I guess Google will know if you download from the Play Store, but likely they don't care very much.)

If you want to use crypto wallet for your business I highly suggest you should use two wallet online and offline. But you should only use the online wallet for payment then transfer all the crypto in your offline wallet. In online wallet there are coinbase, blockchain , electrum and many more just pick the wallet that you want because all of them are good and secured.

Indeed, anything "online" defeats privacy, just connecting to the site they already get your IP and browser fingerprint, even before you start providing them with KYC stuff...
thats true but thats why proxies , vpn and other anonimity tools are invented so that you cant possibly be trace or you will only be given a fake ip address  .

Re: Best online wallet for privacy
why dont you try decentralized type wallets ? if there are decentralized coins , i think there will also be decentralized wallets  . no one controlls these types of wallets so you are sure that your privacy is safe with them .  you can try researching because im not currently using any of those since im already contented on the centralized wallet that i use  .

That's what all open source wallets are. Electrum, Core and many others can be downloaded and used without telling anyone. Only the closed source wallets would be controlled by a third party, just like online wallets are controlled by the site operator.

Bitcoin is decentralized, therefore using any of its (Free and Open Source) wallets is already decentralized and p2p. The same cannot be said about certain centralized coins, such as Ripple...

The only way you could be using a centralized wallet, is that you are using some online or closed source wallet, or not Bitcoin.

If we are talking only about Bitcoin and if Segwit is not a must for you, I'll can you about the wallet I use. I enjoy my Blockchain.com wallet. It's online, easy to use, has a high reputation, rather safe. And I've never been asked about my funds there (neither was my friend who had 1 Bitcoin there for a while). You can check their policies to make sure you won't be disturbed, but I guess Blockchain.com does not do that kind of stuff. Moreover, they cannot do anything with your money, which is good. But the big downsides of this wallet are a very limited number of cryptos they accept and the lack of Segwit.

But then you are probably mistaken. You think owning your own wallet means the money is in there? Nope, it isn't. Bitcoin is like a "cloud" service, the money is always in the blockchain. The wallets are actually keyholders, but i guess calling them keychains or such would confuse the people more. When you make your own wallet, you can "send funds to it", but the funds never move across wallets, they move within the blockchain who can move them next, and the blockchain exists replicated in all the nodes in the entire world. Therefore the obsolete concepts of moving capital across borders no longer applies to Bitcoin.

What i want to say here is, that technically, all coins are online (in the blockchain). But to control the coins you need keys, that's what your wallet stores. If you want privacy, you should make your very own wallet, and take steps to secure it. For savings, an "cold" seeds written in a sheet of paper with your own hands is very, very safe as long as you keep said sheet (physically) safe, make at least one more copy with your own hands and keep it in a different physically secure place, in case place a burns down or something, place b is safe.

With a cold wallet like this, you can send all the funds you want to it and nobody can't touch them. This is perfect for long term savings, just keep those words safe.

Please use a desktop wallet or mobile phone wallet or hardware wallet so you can control the bitcoin and you can prevent the attacker that might attack or steal your bitcoin. I don't suggest to use an online wallet to store the bitcoin because that will be too risky, you don't know if your account will be safe for a long time. Besides that, if you use a desktop wallet or mobile phone wallet or hardware wallet, you don't have to worry from the other people that will try to hack your devices unless they are often to use your devices.

You can use bitcoin-qt for the desktop wallet, and for the mobile phone wallet, you can use many good wallets such as mycelium, jaxx liberty. But the best wallet that I recommend will be ledger nano or trezor so you can be safe it in a safe place if you don't connect to the internet.

AFAIK, there is no online wallet that gives privacy, based on my experience, to ensure that my transaction will not be trace, I mix the BTC from my online wallet, I'm using chipmixer most of the time but it's not gonna be free as there's a transaction charge everytime you mix.
^ Definitely right, web/online wallet is not safe if you care about privacy. There are too many crypto enthusiasts avoiding blockchain.info wallet because this is not allowing you to hold your private key but I still using on it if the amounts are not big. If you wanted not to hold for a long run and for business purposes you can choose web wallet but if not better to choose a hardware wallet. https://electrum.org/#download is for free to use.
