I think the best place to get reference for analysis is from the coin rating platform such as coinmarketcap, coingecko, coinpaprika, etc.
You can visit the site and sort the coin by market cap, and you will see many low cap coins.
But then, we cannot say the low cap coin will become a great coin someday, it is very hard to guess, we should research the project so we can predict where the coin goes.

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned /biz/ prior to my post. It is a 4chan board and it is plagued with crypto related discussion, shilling, FUD-ing, FOMO-ing etc. You will get shilled a lot of shitcoins, but there are some legit people on there that are seeking out low MC "jewels in the rough" and giving us a heads up when they find them. You just have to be able to weed out all of the garbage in there to find something very valuable.

Hi buddies, wife and i are interesting in doing some fundamental analysis for very new/low cap coins with potential in the upcoming months. Apart from bitcointalk and reddit, are there any websites you recommend for finding these moonshots?

Aditionally, i have been looking for a nice short (5-20 mins episodes) podcast with multiple updates per week regarding crypto news, new projects and so on. The one i used to follow seems to be gone. Any tips?
I don't know when Ethereum 2.0 will be launched, but Ethereum has already started to pump more than normal pump for this announcement. We couldn't confirm it until the announcement. You should stay updated before any announcement. You should buy some new altcoins and wait for the next 6 months. Short time profits will always cost you more money.
It will launch, but unfortunately, we don't know when to release it to the public. Ethereum will get more time to increase higher, and I don't think the price will stop at this time only because the price is still trying to break the higher price. Buying new altcoins will need you to research more to find the potential altcoin because we don't know much about the new coins, so I think we should invest in the coins which already have a history in the past because that will not make us feel difficult to find the right coin.

You can try check on coinmarketcap and coingecko for updates on new coins with potential, they are the top leading capitalisation website that shows up updates on price, volume, volatility, and other features they have too. This is something you and wife should try but that wouldn't guarantee you 100% on your investment.
Take note, bitcointalk and reddit is not website for getting updates on coin, they are forum for crypto discussions.

A perfect look at the market shows it is not all about low cap projects but all about potential and use case. Many coins are growing well while some are going down irrespective of the market cap, thus confirming my earlier statement. A good example is Ethereum and BNB, their growth within the past weeks is really encouraging, and these two coins are trustworthy whose team keeps trying their best to improve as seen in the forthcoming Ethereum blockchain 2.0. Also, various improvements and so on has been done on BNB platform as well..

Just found this low cap gem: http://openpredict.io/

Launching with an absolutely tiny $100,000 market capitalization on Uniswap, and is being launched by Maker DAO—which recently launched Orion Protocol (ORN) which just did a x40 compared to the private sale price.

It's a DEFI coin, so achieving a market cap of $5 million is certainly possible, even $50+ million is possible. $100k to $5m (or $50m)... You do the math.

Definitely worth doing your own research, but I'll be personally grabbing as much OPT as I can.

There's a few catches, so it's not for everyone, but worth looking into IMO.

In coinmarketcap you can filter the marketcap size to you liking (like 5m to 500t). That's what i am using to find them anyway, but i am looking for older ones. Brand new ones aren't necessarily listed in cmc if you are looking for those.

Are you sure going to look for this kind of coin? Well, probably the profits are high enough if you can find such gems. However, it is too risky. Moreover, the gems are very hard to find. They probably offer very promising ideas and also promise in the future, but they can prove nothing. We cannot ensure that the coins will increase so highly after some months or years. So, if for myself, I will find the better to choose the top coins with high volume but low price as compared in coin market cap and also coingecko.

Give up on the new coin with the low cap. They ain't the big thing like they used to be and carry even more risk than the benefit it could bring back. When you looking for a new coin, look for its real use case which is the real deal in long run.

This is very difficult to find out such projects except ICO rating sites. But I will not suggest you to use any ICO rating sites as almost all of them are being paid for fake rating.

So it's better to make your own research from Coinmarketcap,Forum and others.Hope you got that.
on the coinmarketcap the information is also not always correct because bad projects also know how to deceive people. They often pay money to exchanges to increase trading volumes that are not real.
Don't worry about this, coinmarketcap is not the same as it used to be. They do not support fake volume exchanges, so the information in coinmarketcap is correct at the present time. As I remember, Binance runs coinmarketcap now

I usually go to Uniswap, Idex, and MXC when I'm looking for low cap gems but I think Uniswap and Idex are great because of its good volume of the tokens there, I personally like low cap projects because of their profitability and huge potential and also consider if ther token is listed in coinmarketcap because that's a plus point, there are few in my bags such as FOUR, VID and etc. I suggest you to go to twitter and follow some of the influencers there that's analyzing and also looking for low cap gems, I look for their opinion there.

There are many of these tokens that have a low cap and worth to invest but you can only find them on platforms like TRON and EOS. They may not be found listed in CMC but only in the dex they have like the poloniex or newdex. These two platforms EOS and TRON also have Defi projects of their own within them completely isolated to the people in the bitcoin community.  There is JUST token, EQUILIBRIUM, and VIGOR to name 3.

You can find every crypto on Coingecko but the analysis has to be done by you and it will be interesting to hear a podcast by someone on low cap coins, most of the people out here are doing the analysis for the top coins. But it won't be worth your time, to be frank, most of those coins are dead and that's the reason why they are in the bottom of the table. But wishing you luck for your future project and I hope you succeed with it and also give the community a decent amount of knowledge.

Not just you and everyone is looking to find the next low cap which is gonna moon. It is really difficult to find a gem at an early stage .Even if you do the research there is a chance that project may fail. Be careful especially during the bull markets.
It's not so difficult as you said. In my opinion if people can still earn the hidden gem through participate in the various IEO and there are some coins in top 100 CMC are still worth to buy right now. I think he must take a look at oikos because this is also a hidden gem.

At the moment new blockchains, oracles and generally DeFi projects are quite hot..but to find those moonshots early isn;t as easy as it sounds.
What you can do is sort out by Genre first..For example get a list of oracles..then sort out by marketcap..check community, github/developers/team etc..are they active enough? Does the token/project have enough liquidity etc?

Also check out coin news calendars, so when you see a coin that has upcoming news it might pump and you could do some short in and out trades and earn some profit too.

I am more of a long term holder and what I am quite happy with is staking coins. I also staked 10k CRO and I trade there 5k volume a month to be eligible for syndicate deals. That is every week they add a coin and we can buy it for half price, plus I earn 205 per annum staking CRO and get the staked coins daily..I make around 12-14 bucks of free coins for every syndicate deal which isn't bad..

I am doing well with BAND and I got it for 1/63-2.2 USD and now is going for over 8 bucks and am staking that a similar coin that could pull a band is ZAP which is going for only ten cents right now.  Cheesy So I stocked up on that.

I personally just follow the press releases launched on CoinTelegraph.

You can normally assume that if they've got enough money to pay for PR, and they've got good fundamentals, then they're going to perform well.

You can also just look in the announcement section of the forum, arranging the threads by newest to find the latest gems.

Stay away from anything that has an anonymous team though, these will almost certainly collapse at some point, or be an outright scam.

They are lot but don't they think are trust worthy or let say reliable as such, because basis is not fundamentals, and with that its not okay to venture in to such, so its advisable to carry out self research and the likes before one need to invest any project.
