I think Ethereum, whether it is the future or the present, I will think it's the best project.
The best project for me that has already been released in the market is NEO. Because by just holding NEO in your wallet, you can earn another cryptocurrency called GAS. It is also like Ethereum which you can hold NEP tokens. For incoming projects, I thinks DICET is a good choice. What I like with DICET is that you can reverse the payment which you can avoid being hacked.
One of the best upcoming project this month is TrustedCarsFlex. It aims to solve a fundamental problem in the cars industry. This ICO is backed by one of the best company in Germany, TrustedCars GMBH that has operated and gaining a lot of recognition and several awards for their creativity and impact. Now there are so many different projects, and with each day there are new ones. But it seems to me that it is WORLDOPOLY that is the best project, although there are not a few decent ones.

As far as i am concerned the best project right now is NEO,Chinese ETH.NEO has very fast transactions and a profitable staking protocol even when your wallet is offline.NEO runs its own block chain.NEO supports smart economy.NEO is updated version of ETH.Currently NEO is undervalued and investment in NEO is highly lucrative and hold it for coming 2-3 years.NEO will be fully matured after 2-3 years and will be comparable to ETH.
I really like NEO. Its better tech than ETH with a really strong dev team and defined long term goals. It has a host of great projects already using it such as Red Pulse, Deep Brain Chain, Switcheo and has many great projects just coming out such as Spotcoin, Asura and Effect.ai. The overall quality of the NEP5 projects is amazing compared to most of the ERC20 ones and NEO's ecosystem is just getting started. Just wait until China finally embraces Crypto.
