Well a typical circuit may accommodate 1500 to 1800 watts.  So you need two circuits.

I've bought over a dozen A2 Terminators -- all used -- at $800 to $1500 each (over the last 8 months).  Not a single issue with any of them.

The one who buys a new miner -- usually pays a big price.

At least with a used unit - you know it works.  I'm not sure how you could burn an A2 unit out -- unless you tinker with the circuit.  From what I've read, it has automatic shutdown on cores if they get too hot.

Anyway - this is the easiest route - without requiring a special circuit.  2500 watts of power can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing and don't have the proper wiring to do it.

I'd buy one of the 256Mh/s miners if I knew I would actually get it.  No escrow, no Paypal, no guarantee.  Shipping is also like $260 or so?  They you need two good PSUs?  Add what another $300 or more?  So now we are at $1560 and I still don't have a guarantee it will make it to my house in one piece or even work.

Thank you very much, just to be clear, are you sayin that i need special circuit even if a i have to PSU ? Im in Canada and we only have access to 110v so i dont want to have to change electricity at home. I want 2 miner (alchemist or terminator) with 2 PSU each. Is it possible with normal electricity circuit?

Another thing, is it possible to plug these miner on a wifi network ? I have wifi at home and would like to put the miner in the basement. I have usb antennas?

how much you wana spend

Mmm about 2000us

I would recomend the alchemist 256 MH/s miner ( aound $1300) , keep in mind you need around 5000 watts of avaiable power to run two of these

so i would order just one and test it via your power needs .

Unless you can split up the hash to different pools (or coins) -- which maybe you can?  But if not - I think you better off with lower hashing units so that you have more options on coin mining.

Also - does this mean you need to feed one 256Mh/s unit 2500 watts?  That is a lot of power -- definitely would need two circuits - well unless you are going 220V.

With $2K - I would buy two A2 Terminator Units -- each gives you 110Mh/s of hash -- each requires less than 900 watts of power.  Much easier in a home / basement type setting.

A2 would be a bad option to spend so much on since its USED.  who knows how long the previous owner pushed the unit or how much he/she modded it from stock.

If you could stil by an A2 new I would say yes go that route but right now they are not even made anymore.

And yes you would need 2PSU's and two circuits, I don't thing that's a big deal we did this all the time when we ran 7 AMD GPUs off one motherboard  , its pretty much the same thing

and look you're getting 256 mh/s that's like 50 GPUs on scrypt.

With a proven track-record and reliability -- definitely the A2 Terminator units @ about $1100 for 110Mh/s -- using under 900 watts.

With potential quality issues and buggy firmware -- KNC Titan units -- pricing is about the same per Mh/s -- but using 1/2 the power.
