Traditional social media is pure garbage, Twitter is overrun with trolls, no-one is using facebook for crypto, etc.

I more lean towards Telegram and Twitter. Here I find out the most information and news. Facebook is less useful to me. And most of all I'm interested in the thoughts of analysts.

In my opinion. all existing social media platforms are all good social media for the development of crypto currencies. everyone in the world uses more than one social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp and others. so that all social media provide an active role for the development of crypto currencies.

Best social media for promote and advertise crypto si Facebook, I see many investor use Facebook as their main media social and its the best way how to promote and advertise crypto for public. Many people use facebook and we have many costumer for getting and ask them joining crypto investment.
For me, I would only suggest two major social media and that is facebook and twitter because that two major social media is the most popular among others that is good to use for crypto advertisement and i'm pretty sure that many people will see if you used it.

Telegram may be the most used platform for cryptocurrency projects, but it is not necessarily the best outlet. You cannot really publish an article on telegram and it remains to easily be read by everyone. Telegram is just a chat app. The messages you post today will move far behind after few days. That is why it is not the best. I honestly will give it to Medium. Articles on medium stays almost forever. You can even get a link to such articles when you use Google search engine for a particular crypto project published in a medium blog. Hmmm....to my own opinion, I think it should be that the type of socio media a particular project will create should define the purpose of the project. Like if it should be Telegram, that means the project is trying to bring all it's people in one place and interact and if it's a Twitter, then that means such handle is going to be used to disseminate informations while if it's mediun, that means is going to be used to write articles and

in my opinion social media is only promoting crypto and this is very good in the development of crypto, hopefully social media has other content prepared so that crypto can expand the network everywhere.
I heard even Facebook are banning the crypto ads and some FB groups. But so far the greatest social media outlet for crypto currency is still Facebook coz everyone is using it.
What the OP asked is of two categories because every social media have there own best features and if we are talking about the best social media outlets for cryptocurrency advertisement I believe is the best option but if we are talking of the social media for developers, analysts, enthusiasts etc Linkedln and Github are the best for that.

I think that all platforms are important in their own way. Each has its own specific audience. To spread information about crypto, it is better to use as many platforms possible to convey information to as many people as possible.
as for me the best social media outlets for crypto are Twitter and Telegram. Facebook is too risky and projects prefer to avoid ICO news on this platform.
