ARK is a good one. Promising coin for the coming year(s) and a dividend of 10% a year. Just put them in the official ARK wallet and vote for a delegate once. You will get rewarded every week.
Ambrosus. Not exactly a staking coin but you can run a master node which is even better because there's no risk of it being labeled a security. Amazing team with a use case made for blockchain headquartered in Switzerland's Crypto Valley and less than $50 million market cap currently. FYI the CEO has said if that if only a fraction of the companies that are currently running proof of concept on amb-net adopt it he expects around 1 million bundles a day per year within a few years which, as you can see would be a huuuuge amount. It would mean every node holder will be able to retire and live comfortably off of the passive income. It's truly one of the best risk/ rewards in all of crypto at the moment.

There is one coin called ACC (Accelerator Network), it is heavily flying under the radar right now, The Staking return are around 200% per years what is very good. It saw heavy dumps and it is a good time to buy in. Devs are working on some new announcements that will go live with the new Casper update on the Ethereum chain.
Komodo is good similar or better than Neo. You get 5% annual interest in KMD if you keep in wallet. Earning KMD is better than earning GAS in my opinion
NEO is a trusted platform so everyone stay in that platform but Komodo is not popular in this community so it will not developing in future and this is the worst choice in my career. I don't recommend Komodo is better than NEO because I have brain so analyse in right platform. If you Komodo is best promising and profitable platform in future you only invest that platform.

Callisto is going to have cold staking in December and Unitus is going to be POS maybe next month.

Value of thoses coins are very low. Some needs a certain amount of coins for staking.

Recently i have discovered a new staking coin called "Mano" that is very popular right now. Sadly i missed its start and the price rise is real with this one.

To say that NEO is the best coin, I object, because ETH and BTC are the best coin in the market today, NEO is just junior followers, and developed on the foundation of ETH and BTC. So they can not compete with ETh.
Cardano will introduce staking in Q2 2018. But for now, it's not yet implemented. And it's currently at 0.26$ 
That's it that cardano and eos are still at the very beginning of development. Therefore take a lisk and you will not lose.

yes, not just neo, almost all altcoin is down, this is the right time to get it, even though being in a cheap price, I am very confident that neo will definitely gain high and meet the success, that's what I believe until now
You can take a look at Syndicate, but aside from staking and acquiring coins, I don't think they have much of a future project. So this one is buyer beware, it does stake very good with a high ROI.

I usually don't buy coins for staking but as I get more interested in this, I bought some neo and cardano, cardano staking probably will be later. I need more undervalued coins having long term potential.
$pac is good for staking with a masternode
Take a better look at NEO(you dont even need to be actively staking with pc on to get dividends which is why I like this). KCS is similar in that regard (passive income), its greatly devalued right now and if volume picks up at kucoin (which is bound to happen when the market picks up) you re bound to make extreme % ROI purely from this passive income(let alone the actual coin's price increasing, right now 1/8th of ATH).
Then from actual POS coins I like NEBL, its also at 1/4th of ATH, recently had an update and now offers a very solid 10%+tx fees ROI and is actually only 13m coins in circulation which can lead to great spikes eventually. Those would be my top3 if I had to choose. Other notables like EOS/ADA dont even have a working product yet,let alone staking so I would stay away from them now until and if their expectation inflated values comes down enough to make it worth the wait until they're functional.

Vechain will make you happy later down the road. It is not exactly under a dollar but three-four bucks isnt that bad and marketcap is lower than cardanos for example.
