I buy coins first day of every month, no matter what price is. Those bitcoins directly goes to a paper wallet for a long time investment.

How would we know that, bitcoin will never goes down more?
We wouldn't thats why its called playing the market  Wink You can sometimes predict it by checking the graphs. If it went down a lot in the past days and is below the average monthly price it's a good idea to buy (especially if the price just started to slowly go up after a drop).

Yes. Buy op is based on Mt.Gox price so XYZ exchange price will allow one to cost average down as well. Price drop is not a bad thing, it allows one to accumulate without mining.

The price held steady this weekend even though the news https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-foundation-receives-cease-and-desist-order-from-california-241361 was terrible regarding  BF. It is now Monday morning and it's now trading @ 101-103.

This is a buy op at this price. Cost average down

The volume drops on the weekend too, it's one of the factors helping lower the price I think.

The best time to buy smt if when it's cheap.
So best time is going back in time and getting it for $2 a piece. If you can't do that, at least wait till the price drops below $100.
