Bitcoin now continues to appreciate. But this has a negative effect on alternative coins. They become cheaper. You can now buy any coin, because they are all very cheap

I agree with this statement! Altcoins are growing like never before, and its investments in ICOs are already beating traditional startup investment numbers. So yes, I believe that if the idea is worthy, now is the best time to start investing in altcoins. P.S. But be careful because a lot of scams come along with this hype as well.

Even though it is a good advice, but bitcoin has refused to give up its rise in price. However, it does not take the shine off aitcoin.

Yea the entire market seems overbought right now. I expect a 30-70% correction with a quick, appropriate, rebound to 5-8k in due time.

The key to buying alts right now, would be to look for Altcoins that didn't get their recent rise from the pricing alongside BTC.

Altcommunity Coin, just so happens to be one of those.

Although i do agree with you to an extent there are still quite a few tokens out there that are not sky high currently.
Also I get you say to wait a few weeks / months but no one really knows what the future holds, bitcoin for example you could wait a week / month to see what happens and in that amount of time bitcoin could reach 15k - 20k and then would miss out on extra profits. But also in that time it could settle down and fall down to 5.5k.
Currently NEO is pretty low and I personally feel it might be a good time to buy in, but with any type of trading no one knows what the future holds. I believe there are a few coins out there that are promising and can go to the moon, just need to read up adn decide what is the beast investment for your portfolio.

at the time OP posted that was indeed the "right time" because we can obviously see that prices made x2 since.

On the other hand, i don't understand people answering the topic like here in december, with prices sky-high, more like orbital-high now, and still telling to buy ?

i know somes wants to get some profits etc, but at some point you have to stay true enough to yourself, and admit, that chances of long term upward trends are getting lower and lower, with all this december hysteria.


if you really think buying XMR at 200$ or BTC at 11k$ is a good idea and expect a big return, then i cant do anything for you.

Not to sound like a douche, but its clearly no time for "wise" investments.

In last resort, if you have good reason to believe hysteria is gonna put an even higher climb, you may invest to get lightning fast returns but that's it.


i was already unhappy and felt risky buying NXT in september. ( and the prices were quite low ).

on the other hand, some people think its ok to buy at an all time high right now ?

did i miss something ? not only its bitcoin all time high, but its almost every alts all time high, also global crypto market cap all time high .

Now is the best time where they are newly made because they price is still low. It is risky but when that altcoin you have invested with became successful. Your profit would be a lot like how bitcoin does to its early investors.

November, 30 was the best time to invest into altcoins as almost all of them were down. However, you can also come into the cryptocurrency market if you choose Ripple or Monero. Just do not but coins when they are on their rise.

Their's no best time in invest altcoins anytime is the best time to be exact because of the dumping and pumping of the prices in the market we dont know if we can profit or not so for me anytime is the best time

No, No, No! Its not a correct time to buy all kinds of altcoins. There are two reasons for that-
1. First should be that, I don't think all the altcoins are promising.
2. Second should be that, Altcoin is already rising because they are being effected by bitcoin confliction and bitcoin cash.

Yes, this is the best time to enter altcoins as approx all altcoins are at their bottom and can rise anytime and give manifold returns in short span of time.

I see a lot of traders buying altcoin at the moment the main coin price increases, maybe it's a strategy. before it is recommended to be more thorough, before trading altcoin, because lately a lot of altcoin that disappeared.

Now i think it's too difficult to find out an altcoin which its price can pass bitcoin in the future, Ethereum is only altcoin can be done this. I agree with you are going to grow in the future but Don't have to all altcoin so you should careful when you choose altcoin which you want to invest in, altcoins that have low price it's not sure a good altcoins in the future

It's a normal market cycle.  Just check the Market Capitalization chart on CMC.  Spike up, trend down a bit, spike back up, trend down again, etc.  ALTs are good buys on the down trends (like the past couple of days).  Buy low, sell high

It's more or less a gift of knowing when and when not to invest..follow a project closely over some time, pay attention to the team and their development plans/ road map.I generally don't invest in ICO's..I invest, when a token/coin is just listed on an exchange and yet to be listed on coinmarketcap, Anyways, I just invested in Monero, Tio and Neo,
