It depends on what kind of person you are. My husband, for example, very fond of trolls. He immediately starts to troll in response and, it must be said, triumphs usually))) Grin If you are a calm, balanced person and do not like mindless sparings, then, of course, just ignore! And you can laugh at the stupidity of those who spend their lives on bullshit))) Cheesy

The below ways are the best ways of dealing with trolls

Establish a Policy
When dealing with trolls the first step is to establish a policy for user comments. These policies should clearly detail what kind of comments are allowed and be outlined on your website and social media accounts. If you want an examples of solid comment policies, check out what the Content Marketing Institute, Huffington Post and Mother Jones have created.
2. Ignore Them
Trolls want attention. They want to get you angry, frustrated or uncomfortable. No matter how difficult it might be, simply ignoring a troll could your best tactic because when they don’t get a response, they’ll most likely go away. In fact, according to the Pew Research Center, 60% of respondents opted to ignore online harassment.

Make Let Light of the Situation
Rachel Wisuri states on Social Media Examiner humor is one of the best ways to handle trolls. Wisuri uses Sainsbury’s, a grocery chain in the United Kingdom as an example of using humor to battle trolls after an unsatisfied customer reported that they had purchased chicken that tasted “like it was beaten to death by Hulk Hogan.” The brand replied by using a metaphor, as well as an apology. This was effective because the brand engaged the unhappy customer in a lighthearted manner.
As Rachel states, “When you make light of a troll’s tweet, you simultaneously acknowledge and defuse the situation.”
4. Unmask Them
Don’t Provide a Platform
If you happen to host your own website, you don’t have to approve offensive comments. You can also delete these comments or ban members. Alec Biedrzycki also suggests on HubSpot that you can “disable commenting from your posts to prevent trolling altogether. ” The only problem with this is while you're preventing trolls in the first place, you’re also preventing discussions among your online community.

6. Use Moderators and Online Tools
If you have the resources you may want to consider hiring a team of moderators to monitor activity on your site, blog or forum. These monitors have the power to approve or remove inappropriate comments.

You can also use disemvoweling or hellbanning tools or plugins to battle trolls. Other powerful ways to handle trolls are making use of the Robot9000 tool or the SMC4 software.

7. Create a Unified Community
If you have a loyal online community you may not have to worry much about trolls since the members will monitor themselves. Furthermore, when a troll does appear, your community may take matters into their own hands and drive of the trolls themselves.

The best way is to accept them for what they are and let them be. Ignore them. They're always going to be there.

Ignoring trolls is sometimes very difficult, just easy to say. The best way is showing them that we are enjoying trolls, but not act like them. make some trolls to laugh together, but don't attack their personalities, also not attack our own personality. it will show that we are tough persons.

I think we can just ignore it until a time we are able to overcome the troll.
because I think we will not lose forever, but we wait for the right time to repay.

Trolls spread lies, deceive and cause damage, and they enjoy every minute they can make someone else miserable. They use internet anonymity to shed their veneer of decency and show their ugly selves and are often found it online forums like Bitcoin Talk. Trolls are basically cyberbullies on steroids – cowards afraid to show their face but nastier and more dedicated than garden-variety bullies.

What do you think is the best way to deal with trolls?

Take them head on or ignore them???

I have to apply such things and never respond because ultimately he will feel overwhelmed as well because the troll is just looking for attention
that is
1. Do not respond to the troll
2. Trolls attack the boredom, not you
3. Responding to trolls is a waste of energy
4. Learn to laugh at the situation
5. How to respond when you are already trapped
6. Learn to distinguish trolls with constructing suggestions

Trolling is a punishment for people who are unable to get straight, correct news from real sources but instead prefer to believe whateverthefuck they see first. And what feeds them is "not being able to ignore".

So, as long as you keep learning your facts from reliable sources & not get baited to stupidity, you don't even have to deal with any trolls.

The best way to deal with a troll is to ignore him/her. Because the troll wants your reaction, they feed upon it (lol). If the trolls are not getting your reaction they will become bored and leave.

Essentially trolls are there to seek attention, once you actually give a hint of attention they actually like it and they will troll you more. Personally i watched trolls die off a thread because of inattention and i see trolls who thrive in a thread that gets alot of comments. That is why i don't go in the comment section of YouTube
