So I can join your buyers' club and purchase btc at the price listed on the webpage?  That's a good deal.
You don't have escrow yet, so I'm wondering about the mechanics of the transaction.  Do I send the money first and then somebody sends me btc, or do does somebody send me btc first and then I pay for it?
Or do you pool transactions?
Right now it is one-to-one, manual, and we are geared towards the buyer.  In other words, we have to wait for someone to say they have crypcoin to sell. We pre-screen the buyer - make sure he's got enough money in his Akimbo account to make the purchase. Recognizing that localbitcoins and craigslist are TOTALLY in favor of the seller ("Moneygram me some money") we are putting the buyer in control:  Once the seller list them, seller transfers the crypcoin to buyers wallet, buyer then sends funds via Akimbo.

At this point we cannot guarantee the transaction.  That is why we are building [CryptoTrustPoint](http://www.cryptotrustpoint.com).  Ultimately, all our transactions will be conducted through CryptoTrustPoint.

Did I answer your question?

Is it possibly to steal bitcoins with moneybookers like they do with paypal?
They buy BTC and after you send it to person, the same person put a claim in paypal that account was compromised and they get money back and keep bitcoin.

That's why we chose Akimbo - there is no chargeback.
The Akimbo program is a essentially a single ledger with the bank.
Akimbo has built the front-end to allow instant transfers between members.  It works!  No fees and no chargebacks.

Bank deposits is a popular option but of course the money will pass through the bank and therefore maybe tax'ed and with fees. Cash in mail for some countries and SEPA and Bankwires to some but each of them has some disadvantages. Some people prefer Face to face which may be risky as you will meet a stranger while holding BTC's.

The absolute best way to sell BTC in my opinion is face to face, you get cash, the seller gets BTC.

The trick is finding someone local to you  Wink localbitcoins.com can usually help!

We are a group of buyers who will buy five cryptocurrencies through our Akimbo cards.

We are looking for more buyers so we can increase the amount of transactions we can process.

Ultimately, we will utilize a 2of3 multisig transaction, using the blockchain as the escrow agent.

I've been watching this thread and, yes, when you put it that way I guess it does sound kinda scammy...

Let me to be more transparent and explain:

We are 4 bitcoin guys who all live in San Antonio, TX. We are out of Geekdom, which is a collaborative workspace that Graham Weston of Rackspace started for geeks and entrepreneurs to find each other. Two of us are miners, one of us is military reserve, and the other partner is the CEO of Akimbo Financial, the prepaid VISA card we are using.

Being the bitcointalk and reddit voyeur that I am, I had seen a lot of discussion around the multisig or MofN transactions. Have NOT seen any reasonable implementations of it. We decided to build a node to facilitate those transactions, effectively escrowing to the blockchain. That is CryptoTrustPoint.com, our main project. In the meantime, cryp2cash.com can help with instant money for coin while we get the multisig project completed.

Hope this helps - I appreciate the feedback on how best to present ourselves, and what is right or wrong with our approach.

1. how legit is this site? who are the founders?
cryp2cash.com/

2. Does Akimbo know you are cashing out bitcoins to USD with their cards?

Hi,

I've been trading BTC for 20+ months.

The easiest and most secure way to sell BTC is cash.

Meet someone who wants to buy BTC in person.

He/She will give you cash - you send the BTC to them.

Easy as.

(I am buying right now if you are in the UK).

that is here where I live not so easy, people don't trust BTC

What is best and cheappest way to get money from BTC.
Paypal is expencive and people still cheat and steal BTCs from sellers.

Moneybrokers - Skrill is cheapper but have no experience with it.

Some people get direct money from bank transfer - SEPA
but that mean you will pay taxes for getting money out of BTCs
tax is different from countries.

So what is the best and cheappest way to get money from BTC?

MoneyPaks work well, especially when used with an escrow service.

I would say you'd be best off going with something like LocalBitcoins which would enable you to sell your Bitcoins to someone face to face via something like cash which ensures that you don't get your funds stolen. However, it does have a premium which you may not like so much.
