OP, it has been a long time that you opened this account, going by your profile, I must welcome here because is not an easy stuff to be here since you opened this account I don't know what might be holding you, but I feel that it would have been wise if you have started this journey earlier before now but I know that there is know late coming in this business and the time you pick interest is the time for you, I will advice that you should open a new wallet, if you don't know how to open it, ask people or go through some YouTube videos may be you will learn their, I said than because your wallet key might be visible or known to the person that opened it for you unknowingly to you, after opening a new wallet learn more about btc and invest what you can afford to let go continuously as you can.

I always advice people that got their Bitcoin wallet opened through the help of someone to always go back and create a new wallet just as they are been teached , never ever store bitcoin on wallet that someone help you created because they might be waiting for you to have enough bitcoin and they will steal it all, this was something that happened to my cousin, he choose to follow friends to teach him and they rugged his Bitcoin in the end and today he is no more into Bitcoin because he believe that Bitcoin is a scam.

Even after telling him where thing went wrong he choose to avoid bitcoin, I advice you to take things slow with crypto and Bitcoin, turn this into going to school and learning for a while, it will pay off eventually, this is the only way you can find your own way with Bitcoin.

I love the fact that you're already thinking of thinking other people, but I guess there's a perfect time for that, and with how you created your thread, I guess you need to help yourself first before helping other people.

As to where you start, this forum is one. Youtube is another one that can help you. There are so many platforms online that will help you in terms of knowledge. For now, don't think of helping others and instead, help your first. Start at the basics of cryptocurrency. Start at the basics of Bitcoin. Over time, you will learn more and more as you watch and read online. We started here as a newbie. I started as a newbie as well, and the internet helped me learn more, and more about cryptocurrency.

I hope you will continue learning so that the time will come when you will be helping other people on how to open Bitcoin wallet. I just hope that the people who helped you open a Bitcoin wallet will not get the Bitcoins that you will store there because for sure they might know the private keys on it.

I think it's fine if you have a close family member or close relative to help you open a bitcoin wallet. It is assume that this wallet belongs to two persons and the people I think can share the same wallets are couple that marriage has brought them to become one, and this can only take place based on agreement from the person. If it is something that has nothing to do with marriage I think it is not right for people to think of sharing wallet or someone helping a someone else to create a wall. i guess you should have gained w right knowledge regarding the way the forum hid by now but I just want to add that you try and visit your local board more often since it appears as though English isn't your native language and ensure you identify with them so that they will give you the needed guidance and so you can also follow up with the trends and happening in the field of Bitcoin in your country.

First don't trust any one else about created wallet and secure by your self with all data seed phrase, I know you faced difficult with creating bitcoin wallet but if your age not limited for getting ID card and can't verify exchange account you must help your parent and use their ID to verify exchange account.

as a suggestion, the first thing you have to do is secure your wallet. since the wallet was created by someone else, there is a possibility that your private key will be leaked, so it's a good idea to make sure that your wallet is safe. or better, you can create a new wallet and it's not difficult.

I beg to differ on this. While I know you're generic in that comment, I also have read others toe that line of thought, but that doesn't apply in all cases. We should know that there are people who don't give a hoot about the seedphrase of others. I've created several wallets for people without even having a peep into what they've there. Some I activated physically in their presence while others I did online for, several distance apart, and I never bothered to ask. I only made sure they knew what to copy and from where. I've bought Bitcoin and other cryptos for people without owing or having access to their wallets after creating those wallets for them. Doing that and making sure they don't reveal their seedphrases to me is my own way of instilling in them that thought process of Not Ever Revealing their seedphrase to anyone, no matter who. "If as a mentor I didn't allow you reveal to me, what else will make you reveal to anyone else?" That's the way I put it to them.

This will be quite risky for some people who know how because getting help opening a bitcoin wallet from someone else has the potential for them knowing your private key so that when a lot of bitcoins are collected, security is very worrying. My suggestion is to change to another wallet if you intend to invest it and leave the one made by someone else as a lesson for opening a wallet. OP, in the crypto space it is very risky to involve other people when creating a Bitcoin/cryptocurrency wallet, especially if the other person keeps a copy of the wallet's private key. The main rule of crypto is that your asset is the private key.

The best way to start is googling. Because if you do end  up googling then you are going to end up with something that would benefit you, and could do a lot better on the long run. I think it should be something that would benefit everyone if we could end up with something that would be a greater result. If you google and learn more about bitcoin then slowly you will get to a better point. A person could spend a month learning about bitcoin and go from "I have no idea how to buy any bitcoin" to "ema seems low enough to buy based on this chart", that would take just a month if you spend good enough time learning about it. So that is what you should aim to do as well.

Don’t give access to your wallet to the good people. It won’t take longer to turn from good to bad. It would have been great if you could avoid using online wallets at first. If you have a PC then download Electrum wallet. It’s the best wallet with best security. Next step is to buy Bitcoins and hold it for long term if you are into investing. Right now it’s the perfect time to buy the coins. Buy it and hold for a year. Definitely you will see great profits.

As a newbie on the block, my advice is, first seek sufficient information about the space from reputable institutions and individuals. You might need to read the Bitcoin whitepaper if possible. Then go to google and search for people who have contributed to the blockchain space apart from Satoshi Nakamoto. People Like Anthronopolous and co. and get their lectures.

The reason for this is because the space is fast evolving and loads of controversies exists. If you have no idea about the foundation then you might have problems.

This is accurate information as there are lots of scammers in every step of life so don't share your personal information with others. I know every person face difficulties but it does not mean that we want helps from other because sometimes others teach us about creation of wallet so they steal our password and other information from which we are not aware.

YouTube is the best helper which always teach you so if someone don't understand anything then they should learn from watching different videos. Everything is available on YouTube, it is a digital era so nobody should worried about any detail as we can get it in a seconds through YouTube and Google.

Buying bitcoin is good through the DCA methodology and always remember that don't tell anybody about the amount of coins that you have hold and neither tell them about the information regarding bitcoin or wallet as it can create unfavorable situations for you.

And I don't think you just opened it without doing any searches as well, I don't know what you did after receiving the link from someone who sent it to you. I hope I was wrong but I was afraid that the person who sent you the link could be a scammer and make you create a scam site. If I were you, you have to create a new one not from the link sent to you and most of all, try to spend time searching and watching videos that explain crypto wallet creation. Just help someone when you are already knowledgeable enough, not this time.

Be careful with the links that you open because they can be malicious and contains some virus or malware that can harm your computer and likely steal your important information and details such as your private key. Since you're a new, as you've said that guy can take advantage of you. I highly doubt that you're still a kid OP, it kind of feels like you're trying to be as sensational as possible and if you're really still just a kid, how the hell are you able to navigate this forum, I'm not saying it's a complicated forum to navigate, it's just that it's weird that you're announcing your age. I don't think you could forget anything about wallet esp[especially because money is on the line. But whatever.
I guess it has to be reminded that you should have your private key where only you have the copy and know where you hid it or else you are compromised whether ETH or BTC, you need those private keys or seed.

Now that you are reminded that you participated in the bounty campaigns I think you can resume. Thats one way to start.

First thing first, the person who helped you create the Bitcoin wallet, does he know your private key? Good people or not, don't trust anyone in this world. If you have learned how to create the wallet, I suggest you to create a new one and get rid of the old one. It doesn't take money to create a new wallet. If you are using a software wallet, I suggest you to move to a hardware wallet. It is the best option to secure your assets. It will cost you some money, but that's just one time investment which will keep you safe for the rest of your life.
Second thing is that, do not back up your secret key online, never share it with anyone, always keep it safe and learn how to encrypt those key before backing up.
