There are so many good ways to store your Bitcoins but one thing that you must emphasize on is the security of your coins, this should always be given priority at all the time. we all have preferences when it comes to the choice of wallet we use. some will settle for web based  MEW because of the rapid transaction speed and efficiency, But for the sake of proper security, I'd settle for Hardware wallets which are not as prone to hacking as Web base wallets. They store your crypto offline making it impossible for a stranger to access it. Try it

I think the safest way to store your bitcoin is through a hard ware wallet like nano ledger s or trezor,
It is safe to store some other alt-coin in that wallet to and I don't really tried the so called paper wallet but they say that it is also a good way to store some bitcoin.

The best way to store bitcoins is, you must have a wallet to store your bitcoin. Create your own wallet and save the file safely, if you can private key so someone does not know.

Using protected programs are too important. PC must be protected from everything, even from your friends and familly.

Bitcoin crypto currency become most popular. There are several ways to store Bitcoin in your offline wallet including paper wallets, hardware wallets, etc. You can download the famous paper wallet generator from GitHub and move it to an offline PC and create a paper wallet to store your funds offline. In addition, hardware wallets are another more flexible way to use. And this is a safer way so that others will not know about the Bitcoin we have. Thanks

the best thing that you can do is just to store all your bitcoins in a hardware wallet, they are never going to get hacked and you will be quiet because of that.

The only secure way is just cold storage like people keep saying here, Trezor but if you feel its too expensive you can use a cheaper one like Ledger nano S or even a paper wallet.

I suggest that you create your own wallet or download some files that are keeping your bitcoin secure and safe. A wallet that needs security key or some key number to be more secure. Also, i suggest to have a blockchain to more secure from the hackers, who wants to enter your bitcoin.

I am an extraordinary aficionado of the equipment wallets with regards to the security perspective. There are numerous approaches to store Bitcoins in disconnected wallets including paper wallet, equipment wallet and so on. You can download the rumored paper wallet generator from GitHub and move it to any disconnected PC and create paper wallets to store your assets disconnected. Then again, equipment wallet is another way which is more adaptable to utilize.

If you don't have money to buy a hardware wallet then I highly suggest you get yourself an online wallet, if you're gonna carry around a huge amount of BTC then I'd suggest you try to keep it at maximum security, store you keys in the most private place you know and lastly keep it on a 2FA authorization to keep it more secured, However if you do have enough money to buy a hardware wallet then I'll recommend you to buy yourself a Ledger Nano S wallet, out of all the hardware wallets I do think this is the most affordable wallet out of all hardware wallets out there, though this is definitely the best way to store your bitcoins.

Hi guys
I know this might sound like a newbie question, but Ive not had enough bitcoin to think about putting any in cold storage since Cryptsy ripped me off when they went down Sad
But just lately ive built myself back up a bit, and just need to check my understanding of a creating a cold wallet is correct ? This is what I think was the best way but im not sure Huh

1. Download latest BTC client
2. move to a pc not connected to the internet.
3. Create an address on that PC without internet.
4. Send fund to address created on PC with no internet access.
5. Save keys in safe place Smiley

Also I was wondering if there are any 100% safe third party wallets that enable quick access if needed ?

Sorry if my question has been covered many times, but I just don't want to make a big mistake.

Thanks
Rick
your opinion is very correct and may be useful for security investors from bitcoin we have our own who can take care of it, to change my code or password periodically

Yup. Cold wallets are the best to secure your BTC especially if you have a large amount of it. But you should still be careful in keeping your private key safe.

You can also try paper wallet but considering of creating or making it,  it is time consuming.  I think almost all wallets available are safe and it only depends on your carelessness on exploiting your keys.

I would recommend storing Bitcoin in a hardware wallet. Sure, there are a number of free wallets, like MEW (MyEtherWallet) but they are more susceptible to attacks or at least, phishing attack.
