Maybe hold 10 btc. Another 10 btc goes to trading with alts/fiat/btc. 10 btc goes to creating your own business. 5 btc should be to fiat savings.

I would definitely Hodl at least into 2018 and assess the market situation then! It depends if your friend wants to get rid of them now as he/she thinks it has reached max price? if so I'm not sure how you would sell that amount.
