I still choose blockchain

yes the wise will go with the chain and holding their own keys be their own bank and vault keep

but lets not forget there is no global shortage on fools and idiots

now here's the kicker

How many block chains are you willing to maintain on your computer?

see it now?

Say you hold 25 different coins ... then you are likely to keep 20/25 on someone elses priv keys.
But there are web wallets that keep no record of the priv key, so act like a virtual real wallet, you're still the key master.

anyone remember the name of the first big webwallet scam?

i'm of the opinion that trustworthy exchange houses will dominate the web wallet sector after the next wave
(cuz they can do it better and cheaper - likely for FREE)

ethought is top notch, he has a long proven record, and I'd back his services.
Very glad to discover he's running said service.  Neat discovery.

But yes web wallet in general are not wise.
But the fact is people will use them for the convience.

Says one legendary:
Smiley Sure the best web wallet is: https://blockchain.info

Says another legendary:
There is no secure web wallet, and blockchain.info is the absolute worst currently operating (if you can even call what it does horrifically, "operating").
I agree with the latter legendary member. It is the most high fee operating web wallet for small transactions. I've had almost all of what I was trying to send garnered by fees. That is not a favourable wallet when there are so many more options available that have low fees or no fees at all.

anyone ever used this service?
https://www.coinwallet.co/en/currencies

is it in good standing?

@BitcoinNational I run this service. As far as I am aware we are in good standing Wink.

We have been running since Nov. 2013.

We are seeing thousands of incoming (mostly small) transactions every day. As such incoming deposits are a bit slow at the moment. We plan to fix this issue soon.

Withdrawals are almost instant.

Recently we added POS pool functionality which is working well.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.

You should delete the BTC https://blockchain.info/ from op.
it's not listed in bitcoin.org either because of several hacks.

it's not reliable.

thanks noted on the list.

Surprised Monero has posted but as of yet no DRK.
NXT and BTS well represented thus far Wink
