I love it
Thanks for your feedback
I have to say I like it more than typical bitcoin dice, where you can't see the rolled number just the win/lose announcement. This design is much better and gives somewhat the experience of actual play and involvement. The next step would be probably to make a real animated dice table, but it would require much more effort to animate. This is good enough.
Our goal was to keep the site as small and simple as possible. Our site is roughly 100KB
Hello,
I have been playing a little while. Here are my observations :
- nice website, nice interface, easy to use and nice to watch!
about the game, i liked it. Original, but really easy to understand, quick, simple, a good one!
Some little things that could be added:
- the bet size is not "easy" to change. you could add some quick buttons like 0.001/0.01 etc... to make it easier to chose.
- If I log out and log in again, i don't see my bets anymore. Maybe the own history could be more persistant, not only on the session, but for one hour or time-based, but not session-based.
- It would be nice to have an auto-bet (x5, x10, x20...) next to the "place bet" button, to enable a simple autobet functionality. The autobetting functionality is nice but complex, so adding a simple one would be nice.
I hope this will help.
This project really liked me, congratulations!
Thanks for your suggestions,
We were planning on adding a 2X 1/2 button, as for bet history, we will change that later on, so you can see it when you log back on.
Thoughts:
- Interesting concept but a little confusing to a new player. The help/how to play page should be the first thing people see, not hidden under a 'help' button.
- 15 second timer between rounds is too quick. Should be ~ a minute to allow everyone to clear their boards, bet new amounts, use -ev 'systems'. Plus rapid fire rounds takes away from the social aspect.
- The ability to wager different amounts for different numbers would probably make you some money. People want to use strategies...let them. Also I would take away the "odds" under the total bet...people want to see "make 63x on your bet" not "make 2.2x on your bet".
Interesting concept, nice new take on the dice model. Personally, I'd like it a little better if it was more pvp and less house-based (basically if there was a way for the winning number bettors to win some % of the losing bettor's bet). There are def ways to do this that encourage social aspects of the game (like Moneypot's bonus structure), but I understand the desire to keep it as simple as possible. Also I'd add that play money play probably isn't going to attract many people.
Thanks for taking your time, and for your suggestions.
