Black screen in mobile phone.

I can access it just fine through Chrome using Android. Report the issue (with enough details) to their GitHub If this persists.

Hi guys, maybe you can answer my question.
In the beta version of the forum fit old accounts from here?

From what I read it should allow you to use an existing account. So yes to your question.

But seriously @Vod, when can we get an ETA on the new forum being officially released. Its been in the works for many many years now...

You are asking for an ETA on the ETA?  You'll have to ask Theymos.  Smiley

I believe back in 2014/2015 i read that at least  $1,000,000 worth of bitcoins were donated by the community for the development of a new version of Bitcointalk ( can't remember the name of the thread )  and this is the result after all those years and money "invested"  ?

I won't even say anything.

$100,000 a month for four programmers.  :/

Is that not good?

For the programming company, yes.   Wink

That's a big amount of money in my country you can
buy a house & lot in just a month, that's why I want to be a programmer it is not late though.
I have no idea why we need a new forum site, could we login using the same pass and username? though it is still not implemented to worry about. I think the problem is simple the site is full. Am I right?

The database will remain the same basically and everything you have including your ranks, PMs, posts etc. will stay. The only thing that will change will be the interface and some new features will come (2FA as an example).

Ah so the human verification is one of them, I remember clearly that long time ago the login authentication don't have that security.

Having a 2FA feature would be good especially because there are many cases of accounts being hacked in the forum. Anyway, it's been a while now since you posted this thread, any news about this development?

It has a nice view. It's easier to read. But it was not possible to test its functions. I hope it will be possible to use it with a white background.

Yes, I would have to say too that a white background would be very nice. I think the dark grey on black is just extremely hard to see as well as use to navigate around. I am really hoping for the forum will be released soon and will be much faster, needless to say stop crashing on us all the time. However theymos' new update has fixed a lot of issues.

Seems like work is ongoing, been waiting for a long while and looking forward to see the new Bitcointalk finally replace the old one.

However I am very used to the current software and I'm sure many others are too... Wonder how users will react when things look different.

Wow Sound Good . and looks like Good.

Thats the new Bitcointalk? looks like a "this domain is not in use" website and why use new bitcointalk subdomain.

The last time I checked, It was something like this:

It's now showing the following message:
Code:
version update and data migration in progress

I believe they are applying it on the current forum software we are using and beta finished or they are updating the beta, the message is not clear enough.

I have noticed that the beta epochtalk software is back to work: https://beta.bitcointalk.org/ I see no modifications of the bugs that has been reported already so I suppose this was nothing but correcting the bug that took the software down last time. I thought I should let you guys know since I didn't see any announcements.
