It seems like I am missing something. In player chat, it always seemed like you were winning, therefore I am interested to know did you win or lose a lot at Betcoin, did they pay you out timely if you won? My wagering amounts aren't very much but I have had only great experiences with the customer support and love the community. Also, I hope they get the WPN tournaments back soon because I play poker as well as sports, casino and dice, and really enjoy their loyalty program. I for one will miss you in there, but you should play where you are happiest. The fact that you keep responding in here and admit logging in to Betcoin (which I personally doubted) indicates to me you don't want to leave. Maybe you should message them privately and see if you can resolve some issue that you have.
I think over the course of my betting with Betcoin, I am probably closer to even. I had some great streaks of luck, and then gave back some. Winning or losing, I just want a reliable book to place bets.
You are correct, my past experience with their customer service and their payouts has been well above expectations, which is what gave me the extreme patience to deal with their many sportsbook issues in the first place. I certainly did not want to leave, but given that I believe that they did the wrong thing in this situation, and the fact that their book has been so unstable without adequate updates to the resolution of issues, I've decided to stick to my threat of leaving and move on. It's truly a shame, as I had spread the word on their book being a great place to make bets.
- You cannot grade bets 3-4+ (sometimes 30) hours later and expect regular customers to stay around
- When issues exist in the Sportbook causing interruption to normal operations, you need to update your clients and provide alternatives for clients in good standing
- When the client makes extraordinary exceptions to deal with a very poorly working sportsbook, you make exceptions to your processes, as long as they are fair to all sides, as was my request to honor the bet I made 5+ times, only to have my balance disappear, and them tell me the bet was rejected, and not honor the bet even though I opened a support ticket and reported the issue BEFORE the games begun
I did reach out to Andrew on the back end, and he dismissed the issue stating they do not accept wagers in support tickets, even though he did it before, and it was an issue caused by their book not functioning with a clear record of the ticket. I don't mind dealing with Andrews smugness in his responses, but for them to not do the right thing on this wager, which was such a small fraction of what I bet weekly, was just unacceptable.
My reason for continuing to post about this is my annoyance, as well as the intention to make sure that they rethink these things in the future. They're so concerned about paying people to post positive things (note: all my positive things in the past about betcoin were not paid, but just honest reviews, just as this is an honest negative post) with their marketing campaign, they are forgetting that a simple resolution that may have cost them $300 can cause a lot of negative feedback. I think they'll also agree, it's not even the amount that is an issue for me, it's entirely the attitude and response that I've been seeing from them that is the driving factor in this.
My first deposit and two bets at nitrogen went extremely smooth and fast, and time will tell if they grade and payout as quickly, since they are both using 5dimes for their feeds. My guess is Betcoin may not be taking on the risk with the sports betting, but just being a conduit to the bet. Andrew said they are having record deposits, so I sure hope all of those people stay and put up with the many issues. I stayed longer than most would deal with because of how good they WERE.
Good share, I like nitrogensports, 5dimes, pinnacle and bookmaker as well but the overall experience in my opinion is much better at Betcoin, but I also play poker, casino and dice and want to be in the bet possible VIP program. It seems to me that if Betcoin would have granted your wager placed in a ticket, you would not be so upset. Am I reading this correctly? I think you should have continued dialogue with them, because IMO this looks like a personal issue you had over this one wager.
Your comments about paying to post positive things being their focus ignores that nearly every casino here on Bitcoin talk has a signature campaign. You are paid when in the campaign, but I don't believe your posts have to be pro-betcoin. I actually tried to get in this campaign but I don't have enough seniority I guess.
If your experience at NitrogenSports is good, you should play at NitrogenSports. As I said, Nitrogen is a great place to play and I make wagers there from time to time, but we both know the overall experience is better at Betcoin that's why you continue to post in this thread! Just message them and let them know how you feel about this.
