The ideal thing would have been to ask people that want to withdraw to withdraw. You dont just go offline for maintenance with my btc still inside and not tell me before u do so. Why cant u guys call a spade a spade. I dont care how good or how bad he is. I just care about my money. You dont keep my money idle for days like that.
...
First: if you put your btc on any website, no matter the website, you should consider it as unavailable without a 7days delay. That's like basic rule, you don't know what could happen and hundreds of tansactions are blocked for different reasons so never consider money not in your wallet as available
Second: Asking people that want to withdraw to withdraw isn't really much easier cause it would mean no activity during maintenance + less activity during the few days preceding the maintenance so you know why they haven't done it. Same reason as why there is no clock in a real life casino
Third: we don't have the details of the maintenance. Might have be a very urgent one, a security problem or something like that. You'd prefer they inform the whole world about it and let hackers a few days to find it?
Fourth: It's motherfucking Christmas man! Get yourself a life if you can't even deal with a 1 day maintenance on Christmas Oo
Fifth: I don't have another point but I didn't feel life ending with 4, it's not complete unless you can divide it by 5.
Merry Christmas guys
My local casino is open on Christmas, but regardless I understand your points. My point is that given that they have what I'm assuming several hundred thousands dollars in user and investor bitcoin tied up, it would be nice to have a longer runway regarding the maintenance window and at the very least input from their support team instead of remaining mum.
I do not care about the reputation of a bitcoin casino, there's always the possibly that the casino may die. There is no reason to not acknowledge that there has been long run operations that have disappeared with sketchy circumstances. Regarding Dean and his operation, I do not think there is cause for concern so I have remain patient regarding the issue.
Regarding it being Christmas, a business is a business 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year. The economy doesn't stop because of a holiday. I work for a major eccomerce corporation. If our servers die on a holiday I do not wait until the next day, I do what I have to right away, otherwise millions of dollars of revenue would be lost. That is my job. The internet is like a Waffle House, it never closes.
