Hello. Betodds.ag - blocked my account.
I've heard about bets that you play, betodds-ag

Online sports betting, many games can be played on these gambling sites.
As,
Boxing, soccer, casino, poker, tennis etc. And including horse racing.

Because we have never tried to play on your betodds-ag gambling site, so we don't know if they are honest or not.

However, I can try to suggest that you try contacting the person in charge of the betodds-ag site again, hopefully you can get a bright spot about your withdrawal, by activating your account again.

I think you missed the part that the guy's account was never blocked and he was paid the same day, lol -A

Nothing like trashing an A+ Sportsbook that has never had a single filed 3rd party watchdog complaint.

"Guy's account was never blocked, he needed to update his password like all players at that time. Also, even though he cried, he was allowed to circumvent the rules of the site, not deposit the required amount and as soon as he updated his password, wagered, won and took a payout, all on the same day. Furthermore, this individual was explained in multiple live chats and emails to update his password, that his account was not closed and he can play, he needed to roll over his deposit, once. Which he did and was properly the same day like all betOdds players over the last 5 years.

Outside of a serious language breakdown, we have no understanding why this player complained when he was told repeatedly his account was not blocked. I find the entire issue bizarre and posters jumping in saying we are scammers and extortionists is absurd. Especially considering the rules of the website are clearly posted and the player decided not to follow them. BetOdds is and has always been a fair bookmaker. "  Jake Ryan, GM

Defamation (sometimes known as calumny, vilification, or traducement) is the oral or written communication of a false statement about another that unjustly harms their reputation, and usually constitutes a tort or a crime.

I did not receive a response to the letters.

That's why it is important to read Terms and conditions of every site before using it. T&C differs from site to site so don't assume that it will be same for every site. Eitherway right now you can only ask for initial deposit to be refunded but since you have deposited into a site that recently came up/no one heard of yet it is much likely that they might not refund it as well.

Reading the Terms and Conditions doesn't guarantee that you won't get scammed eventually.
OP,your deposit is gone and you will never get a refund.Just leave negative reviews about betodds everyone online and make people aware that this is a scam. This is the only thing you could do.

Looks like a nice and neat site, but you cannot really tell based on it's UI, what's important is users experience
and this feedback is negative so I'll mark this one in my list as one of the site that I should stay away.
Hopefully there's still a chance for him to recover his money, $ 153 is already big amount of money.

That's obvious scam. Am truly sorry for your loss.
Always try to avoid less popular and new gambling services that have no genuine reviews... You can easily end up getting scammed.

Seems like it will difficult to resolve OP's problem, given betodds.ag is not gambling site that give a promotion in this forum, just some people who tried to made a thread about betodds.ag and they are just a newbie, you can look here

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/betodds-sportsbook-5083574
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bet-odds-sportsbook-best-value-2852888
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.29340708

Maybe you should find out the problem yourself as you search the gambling site yourself too, but when you have a problem with gambling sites that have made promotions/announcing their gambling site in this forum, then there will be many people who will help you solve the problem you are experiencing.

Sorry for your loss. This is clear scam and if you get desperate and deposit another amount you have been asked, it will be gone too.
Always avoid using non reputable sites. There are way too much scammers these days.

Most likely OP fall in scam trap. That website you mentioned isn't well reputed. Even they aren't on bitcointalk. I just found a post about their website but it's not official. Asking for another diposite during withdrawal is clearly scam attempt. Don't make any further deposits in order to withdraw. Perhaps you will loss everything. How can you trust them again ? We can't help you since they are not on this forum.

Seeing a strange number of sites here now asking for deposits before withdraws. I think almost every day I see a new thread with the same or similar issue. Newbies are also not aware of this red flag, since fiat bookies usually need you to deposit first to even start getting a bonus and do KYC, so it doesn't seem like a bad option for them. Wonder what we can do about this worrying trend.

Unfortunately your gambling in a wrong site, you should have make some research on the its reputation before gambling.
I never head that site before as I'm a pro crypto gambler, I don't use fiat, I only gamble with BTC and popular altcoins.

I'm telling you, you can find a lot of good casinos here where the minimum amount to gamble is as low as $1.

$200 for a minimum amount to start using there is much more than any other site.
If they are asking you to deposit another $140 so to make up for this amount then tell them to unblock your account.
I think this is why they are not replying to your requests all the sudden.
This is way too high but i tried to check it out it shows.

Hm it strange, if you don't break any rule from the site, I guess you don't have to get blocked by them. Did you ask with the support system and tells about your problem? But I think you need to understand that they don't allow international players to deposit in less than $200 so maybe your deposit amount is less and I hope there is a solution for your problem.

I never heard that site, but I hope that they can help you and solve the problem.

But I wonder, why must international players be required to even deposit more than 200 bucks in the first place? That's way too high and worse if it's not stated in the ToS or on the deposit page.

Thanks for the advice. What proof should I present? I made a deposit - the system successfully accepted, won a little and tried to withdraw my winnings. After that I was accused of breaking the rules and most importantly blocked access to my account. Absurd.
If you didn't done anything and can prove that, you can provide all of those necessary details that they need. You can just ask them to give back your deposit and don't include the winnings.

In that case when they want you to deposit for another amount, it's already a red flag. It's sort of forced deposit because they hold your initial deposit and extorted you to deposit more of it, you should have just asked them to return your initial deposit.

Closing account is absolutely outrageous and site is trying to steal your deposit and winnings. Ask for temporary access to your account. Regarding the money, deposits should be refunded and i have no idea about winnings due to agreement to the terms when signing up. What did they respond back to your emails?
