OP, you made your topic title look like an interrogation while it is a declarative. You may want to remove the question mark.

Aside from bitcointalk, theres this forum who wanted to become the next bitcointalk of crypto currency last year. They launched some huge payouts signature campaign here and for about a month or two, i didnt have any feedback about it. They cant still get even on level of this forum.
That was the ICOforum. At that time it did show a strong presence and dragged so many people from here because of that huge payout. But the BM "iamseedi" scammed the owner and that sort of messed up the whole thing. I think the site is shutdown now.

Dang! That was one hell of a mess. First, they said one thing, then another, then they lied to me and got caught by me during a sting op lol so much drama. From the looks of it, one thing was clear that they were after quantity and not quality.

I don't understand why you made a Reddit-like forum when there's Reddit already!
You said you don't like how the community is in "Reddit, Twitter & here on Bitcointalk", but that's just how the majority of the crypto-community is after it went viral. Making a new medium won't solve that problem because if it gets attention, the same community you hate will rush in there as well.

Not bad, you just start your forum and need some development to make worth visited for everyone. Maybe you have to put some design or feature to make it interesting. However, bitcointalk is the old forum so far, as you know the man who created this forum is the man who created bitcoin itself. So, it's not weird when many people who come to this forum because as much as possible this forum will clean any invalid information, any information that ends in a scam and information that will make every person who comes always feel at home and avoid doubts about his investment in bitcoin or altcoin. And did you know? I'm not found the forum like that expect this one.

Maybe this is the alternative that you want to give, but I have tried to see it, the look is simple and quite good.
but I don't underestimate the role that you provide but I still see bitcointalk still the best forum and has been used for a long time. where the forum has also been provided for each country. I feel that BitCointalk is enough to reflect all those needs.

Honestly, I don't like Reddit. There are many forums with high-quality content. But they aren't as numerous and popular as a Bitcointalk.  It's always in the TOP In search engines. There is a lot of interesting information, active discussions on the forum. That's why I'm here

litecoin forum looks very much busy yeas ago but it suddenly shutdown, i don't have any idea why but it does have lots of information and users were also active. there is no competition when its about cryptocurrency its always bitcointalk.org. you may see some crypto forums but there ain't much talks on it. lots of people attempt to create another forum but they still end up promoting those projects in bitcointalk.

I personally haven't seen litecoin's forum, but I can say with confidence that the most likely reason is simply because of the drop in activity(most likely due to the bear market), hence it wasn't worth it to maintain the forum; as most of the Litecoin people are on Reddit r/litecoin anyway. Reddit is just simply far convenient especially when you're trying to watch and monitor a handful of cryptocurrency communities.

Great initiative. You are good to go. But it'll be better if you could make a guide line video.

And I think this bitcointalk forum is still the best forum for other crypto forums. Even users in this forum are more than hundreds of thousands, with various sub topics that you can choose according to your criteria.

Oh, com' on mate, I didn't see any better on that you've said the "better alternative" to bitcointalk. There's a lot of better crypto forum sites alternative than your giving link, my guess you just simply advertise that site here which I noticed that's like shitty one. AFAIK, Bitcointalk community is there all good and veterans stuff that you can't find on other crypto forum sites.

This is nice initiative you are trying to introduce to the crypto space but the mistake you did was posting it here. Bitcointalk contains almost all the information a newbie needs to know and learn about cryptocurrencies. Before a new crypto project is launch, the team behind the project create a post thread on Bitcointalk to inform the general crypto audience. This forum contain almost 99% of the total number of people in the crypto space. You shouldn't have wasted your time creating your post. The best you should have done was to promote your platform on social media like twitter and facebook.

Although you may find some forum related to cryptos around but those forum are not rich with all the information as regards cryptos better than bitcointalk, there are various sections and thread  just check out the technical section all the technicalities problems has been adequately treated while the bounty section had enough information on any ICO.

I'll be honest, it will be very difficult for your platform to attract new users.  You are competing with established forums that have a ton of users and content.  I'm not saying its impossible but it will be a lot of effort.

I really don't like reddit because of the censorship, I know mods can go a bit crazy on bitcointalk sometimes but its still better than reddit.

If you want to seek a international forum that or a community that welcome to all nationalities under one roof and gathered with crypto enthusiasts I think this is the only place you could find with proper recommends because Bitcointalk.org was in business for a longer period of time but there are many community sites which are specific to various regions and nationalities in the world and also there are some focusing only on altcoins like https://www.altcoinstalks.com/ and other specific areas in the crypto world

dude, your forum looks very weird, you should have focused on creating something that looks good and after that you would announce your forum. But do not announce your forum as if your forum were an alternative to another forum. create a forum to complement other existing forums. When you say this:

It has always worried me about how skewed the crypto community has become over time on Reddit, Twitter & here on Bitcointalk. That is why I created this platform called DReddit

it sounds like you're having some hatred of bitcointalk, reddit and twitter, and that's not going to give you a good picture for your forum

I think the op is simply advertising his forum. There is no such thing as a "better alternative", There is bitcointalk, irc and reddit.

Hello guys!

It has always worried me about how skewed the crypto community has become over time on Reddit, Twitter & here on Bitcointalk. That is why I created this platform called DReddit

Here, anyone can share posts/articles related to cryptocurrencies. People can upvote/downvote a particular piece of content. Articles with more popularity show up on top. We are also working on a Bitcoin tipping system based on the Bitcoin Lightning Network and it should be in place in a few days. Much like reddit & bitcointalk, just crypto-specific & authentic.

A little background about me. I have been in the crypto market for a while, My company goes by the name CryptoControl. We first launched a crypto news aggregator 2 years ago & then a trading platform & now this. This, I think is the coolest product we have come up with.

Now, I want your participation and support to create a crypto community people like and look upto. I hope you guys like it. Tell me what you guys think about it.

Link - dreddit.cryptocontrol.io

problem is as soon as you open a cryptoforum, its going to be full with cryptoadvertisements and spam.

my telegram channel regulariy has spam from "american cryptoenterpreneuers"
