When China find a way to regulate ICO-s everything will be fine, they just want to protect people from scams...

You know nothing about their action,
You said they're banning it because of the peoples ? It's more than that.
Everything is well prepared by them, they did it to triger the price before the hardfork.don't you think it's a bit coincide?
A month later we will facing a major change, and suddenly we heard something like this ?
In the next few months you will see a huge change in the Bitcoin price.
It's an economy and they know how to manipulate it
,absolutely right, that is also how i guess why they did that move. well i don't really know that either, but as you can see, is it really a bit coincidence right? and one thing i am really wondering, is that maybe they are planning it from the beginning. not so sure but they are not doing that to protect their people, really how would they even get advantage and earn money if the people got more money than the government? is it really how the government in China thinks? well i guess no.

Though i dont see why an exchange would shut down voluntarily...

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-price-falls-to-3450-but-analysts-are-not-worried/

Forget the Chinese, forget JP Morgan they are not wothy to give our attentions to them. Moving forward lets just focus on how we earn more profit using bitcoin and altcoins. It will be an opportunity to get on board while bitcoin is now reaching $4,000. plus by the end of this year it will be $5,000 is my mark value.

"It is important for traders and investors to understand that the ultimate plan of the PBoC and Chinese regulators is to provide and offer a licensing program for exchanges, not ban trading platforms."

This may be the reason why they have to voluntarily shut down their exchange since their exchanges was listed as an ICO-Coin.
And I really wonder why people are not getting that. I guess they kept reading just the headlines and assuming what they wish to hear (negative news).

I think that this is better than the news that existed from the very beginning. The panic turned out to be false, and the Chinese government softened its attitude to the crypto currency

This was supposed to happen as china has been always confused about the trades and investment that they make in real world or virtual world. They can't make good decision about anything. They are heavy manipulation machine which uses the market as and when they want in the way they want.

The dump will be over soon anyway and yeah off course there are hundreds of the exchanges available and who cares if one exchange shuts down voluntarily or involuntarily. It's all about the time and everything will be back to normal. Who knows china might be playing with world and reopen everything once they think it's good entry point into bitcoin. Lols.

That helps explain a lot. I wonder why an exchange will close down voluntarily though. Maybe they are feeling the heat from LE or it could be that they are running at a loss? Hopefully the news filters in soon, and helps stop the bleeding. i dont mind the price staying at $3500 for a while, so that I put together enough cash to buy me some coins.

I have started to think that all these chinese fuders should be punished, one media outlet published some made up story in the name of source close to government and than one chinese trading platform announced closure of their platform for chinese pair and all bitcoin traders from around the world are in massive panic.

New bitcoin investors are the one who will dump their holding when there is small dump or panic in the market. Whales are silently grabbing cheap cryptos.

I am holding all my bitcoin tightly....

They're being so smart right now. Personally I don't think we have something to worry about on the long term, China is once again steps ahead of everyone and probably accumulationg loads of bitcoin and other crypto for a cheap price. In a couple months a solution will come and people will stop worrying about this.

'...will simply lead traders to the Japanese market, which has been efficiently regulated by the government over the past 12 months'

That is something I am assuming as well.
Chinese citizens might have a problem registrating at the japanese exchanges, but for the rest of the world bitcoin trading will go on.
Japanes has seen the problems China has and solved them through regulations before they became a problem in Japan.
It might take a little for the public opinion to notice it, but Japan will become (perhaps already is) the new center for bitcoin tradings.

Since Chinese doing bad move against bitcoin. Though government is legal giving a pressure to the bitcoin exchanges and other bitcoin related businesses. I really worry about price dump only not about the exchanges because we can find the different exchange to sell or but bitcoins.
